Mieko checked her watch. "Not if we're quick. He doesn't get out of college for a few more minutes and it's across town," she said, starting off to go pick up her sister.

Mieko nodded. "I know. Sometimes I almost tell him. I did make him falter by asking him what he'd do with the information, though," she said, smirking.

Mieko snickered. "He paused, opened his mouth, closed it, and then said he wasn't sure yet," she said, managing to get it out before bursting into full-blown giggles at the memory.

The young woman half-giggled in unison, the mood infectious, almost. "I'd say that the imagery is golden."

"Oh, I'm pretty sure he knows by now and is just waiting for me to admit it. Either that or he's just plain stubborn," Mieko said, rolling her eyes.

"Either is wholly possible, as he seems so perceptive," Arisu acknowledged, shrugging one shoulder. "Do you suppose Sitara would know why the henshin stone was resonating earlier?"
