Okay, so my best friend and I went trick-or-treating this year (DON'T JUDGE ME) and we finished around 9PM.
So we decided to walk back to her house since the public buses don't pass often at 9PM. We were walking past a pretty empty road, chatting and laughing when we passed by a huge gang of teenagers, a bit older than us, 17, maybe?
So we didn't pay much attention and kept walking. They gave us some distance, and I realized afterwards that they stopped and one of them detached himself from the group to walk after us.
We didn't know at the time that he was actually stalking us, so we laughed about him being a stalker and took it very lightly. As soon as he got close to us, I walked in front of my best friend to give him space to pass, and he suddenly lunged and grabbed the candy bag dangling from my hand.
So I was like "NO WAY, BIZZNAAATCH, THIS IS MY CANDY!" (in my head, though. The adrenaline was pumping too hard for me to say anything at all.) and I used the momentum created by his pull on my bag and whipped around, grabbing my bag with both hands to force him to pull with both hands as well. At the time, he was laughing like this was all some kind of joke and yelling "Let go, give it to me!" continually in french (which makes it even creepier cause I don't like speaking french ")
Anyways, I used the rest of the spinning momentum to send a flying kick his way. It hit his side, a little below the ribs and a bit higher than the hip bone, and it made him stumble a bit, letting go of the bag. As I jumped back just a bit to step in front of my friend (it's a reflex, I guess -.-") he turned around, limped a bit and ran back to his dumb gang of friends. I yelled an insult at him and turned around to leave.
We laughed about it as we went home, suggesting that next time, I implant a bomb in my bag and stuff, but inside, I wasn't disturbed, really.
I think I'm disappointed... Can that be? Or am I just shaken? Nah, I think I'm disappointed that it didn't draw out longer and that I didn't have time to evaluate my strength. All this time, I've been practicing my martial arts skills and when the moment came to try them out, all I got to do was kick out of reflex like a damsel in distress.
Anyways, I figured you'd be able to tell me if I'm just traumatized without my knowledge or if I'm really just looking for a good fight... I'm not looking forward to it, although I can say that the adrenaline high I had ever since he grabbed my bag still hasn't died down. To this very moment, pretty much 24h after the incident, I still want to fight something.
I should calm down. Stuff like this only happens once in a blue moon, I guess. Then again, I'm kinda afraid to admit it, but I... liked it " I actually ENJOYED the brief moment my foot connected with his side and he let go to scamper off. Does that make me sadistic? D:
Hmmm, I sound like I've been pulled right out of a suspense novel. I should shut up and live life without such thoughts -.-"
Whatever. In any case, I guess if he could still run, I didn't do my job right anyway. I guess I'll just have to kick harder next time. In any case, this has been an intense Halloween. I think I deserve all the candy I got
So how'd you spend your Halloween nights?
