The smile on his face looked carved as he turned to me. His eyes lit up with some strange light, not like fire or the sun, but like the alien artificial lights in a hospital.
"You wouldn't understand," he says softly, petting my arm with a medical touch. "You couldn't understand."

Her body was like water as she danced. Her movements flowed to her limbs from the center of her torso. Her head would drift back upon her neck as she let the feeling through her soul. There was no music. She needed no music. She wasn't beautiful. She didn't need to be beautiful.
The rain came down and spattered her face, leaving droplets that flung from her too-thin hair. A smile appeared on her face.
Her gods had answered her.

(Heh, maybe I like the same kind of evil characters you do, Moon.)
The small-framed umbreon stood erect, its ears laid back and its stance lazy. Its inky black fur was only broken by the bright blue lights that glowed from some mysterious power within it, and its eyes shone a mercury color in the darkness. It was time.
The fierce arcanine bared its fangs in a warning before opening its mouth to bite the black fox before it. The creature dodged deftly to the side, looking bored. The wolf opened its mouth to produce a plume of fierce flame, which once again missed its opponent.
The black fox batted its eyes closed for a moment and let a strange ray loose from its psyche. The striped fire wolf was hit with the weak light, and it blinked and stepped back. It began tottering on its paws as the umbreon moved closer.
The fire wolf made futile attempts to use its super fast attack as the umbreon snaked its body around it, releasing pheremones and letting the wolf feel its silky soft fur. The wolf began to relax and look at its opponent in a new light.
The black fox seemed to smirk, its eyes narrowing, before opening its mouth and releasing a terribly strong venomous cloud and blowing it into the wolf's face.
A few moments later, after several futile attempts to attack, the fire wolf fell, the umbreon not having to make one single physical attack.
"Great job, Eeve. Now, come back and I'll get you something to eat."

The first kiss.
So much goes into it. It's new, and it's exciting, and it's something real and tangible that often starts the relationship. All it is is the first bit of closeness between two people, the first physical contact that will tell them so much about each other. We often take this rare intimate and chaste contact for granted. We think of it as nothing. It's something to savor, to treasure, to enjoy forever. It's something that can be stolen, given, taken.

These are endings to the two TLK movies, only twisted somehow. :3
TLK 1
"No, Nala, I've told you already, I can't go back! I won't be of any use there, anyway..."
The golden lion faced off against his best friend and lover, her aquamarine eyes narrowed in hurt and anger.
"Simba..."
"Just, stop. I can't do it and that's final." He turned away from her, his own wine-red eyes filled with turmoil and hurt from his past. How could he ever face the lionesses, his mother, with his guilt? His heart was much too heavy...
"All right, Simba. So be it. But you will never see me again," Nala said quietly, and her voice was deadly and serious. She stalked off out of the jungle without another word, and Simba never looked back.
Those years during Scar's reign were said to be the worst in lion history, causing the deaths of all but one lioness in the pride. Her name was unknown, but it was rumored that her beauty was unmatched by any other...
TLK 2
Zira hunched down, an evil, eager grin marring her once-beautiful face.
"This is for you, Scar..."
She lunged straight at Simba, all of her strength behind her legs and all the force she could muster lifting her into the air. Her jaws were open, and her claws remained unsheated, sharp, brutal, and deadly.
"No!" A golden blur, paired with a feminine shriek, flew towards Zira...and missed. Kiara watched with wide, fearful eyes as the evil lioness seemed to fly towards her father in slow motion... Zira's powerful jaws found Simba's throat, and her claws wrapped around his head in a fearsome bear-hug. She would never let go...
Simba struggled, his movements becoming more and more feeble as the lioness upon him strangled him, her jaws surrounding his windpipe. He struck out and slashed at her belly with his back paws, giving her gashes that would surely kill her. Blood pooled all around them, flecks of it dotting the lionesses around the pair as they tried to separate Zira's jaws from Simba's throat. But the crazed lioness was holding on, willing to die and bring the lion king with her...
"Simba! GET OFF OF HIM! YOU'RE KILLING HIM! NOOO!" Nala's screams were terrible as they filled the air, and she desperately tried to wedge herself between her mate and Zira, but to no avail. The struggles had finally stopped.
Zira made a single jerking movement, effectively ripping the vital part of the lion king from him. Her eyes blinked once before she smiled.
"All for you, love..."
Kovu and Kiara stood, shell-shocked and horrified, behind the pride lionesses and Nala. Their mournful roars and cries made their ears hurt with the keening noise...Nala's was the loudest and most terrible of all.
The lion king was dead.

Up pegged it pretty good. The altered "Simba's Pride" ending was certainly stark.
