Oh, that'll be interesting. I'm not sure how far Yggdrasill's RP interests go, but lets hope he decides to give it a shot.

@ Sabaku: umm I thought Dia is a girl?
@ Moonlight: Sounds nice, I can imagine how close you are. Do you two actually know each other irl, or just internet friends?
Yes, at least for now it is. I've added several features for the adoptable site such as cash, items, trade, happiness, fishing. Its getting better and better, even though I still receive complaints for bugs. I spent the entire night working on it, and now I am so exhausted.
Oh so you were trying to customize your forum? Thats interesting, but knowing HTML is enough to handle most of the template/design aspect of a forum. I'd recommend you to use Mybb if you had just started the forum, but since you've been here for months even before I joined PLF, I'd assume its a better decision just to stick to this proboard, at least until you have hundreds of members.
Thanks for your kind words. And yeah, everything had been settled, and we were back on track since the beginning of July. I was indeed frustrated to a point that I thought I would sell it on digitalpoint, but the remaining members and staff did a really nice job bringing pieces together. There are a lot more reasons though, but it would be hard to explain in a thread. We had a nice expansion period, and the total members rise to 2000+ a few days ago, and total posts now hit 130,000. Considering how dead it seemed to be early in the summer, there's really nothing more I should complain, should I?
Oh so you are a an optimist, thats not bad, at least better than cynical people I've been handling on my forum. XD I hope to get to know you gals too, again you run a nice and smoothly-growing forum, I wish you success.
I see, so you are in a slightly more complicated situation than most of us. I am sure it will work out just fine. But wait a sec, why does moving have anything to do with where you are heading to? I wouldnt mind applying and entering a school distant away from my hometown. XD
@ Dia: umm a fantasy RP? Sounds intriguing, mind explaining a little bit more? A long time ago I was in a ridiculous RP in which I had a girlfriend, a fiancee, a wife, an ex-wife and a girl who appeared to be my daughter's biological mother. Cant remember when, but it was, lol weird. You will understand what I mean by weird if you actually realize that they were five different women.

XD We've known each other, in real life, for going on five years now. And its really amusing because people actually mistake us for blood sisters. Oh wow - That sounds like you've put a lot of work into that. I think it'd definitely be a good idea to check it out, then. ^_^ Well, I did want to get into making my own skins as well. Currently, I'm considering making five broad generational skins. Then I might make game/anime/manga centric ones later, followed by type-base skins. Haha, well, maybe we'll reach that "hundreds" sometime in the future. For now, we just hit above 30. *Pats.* Well, that does just go to show that preservering pays off in the end. I'm glad to hear that things are looking up, though. And wow, what a number. Between all that, and in just two seasons time, I'd say that you hit the internet goldmine or something of the like. Mmmhmm. Its easy to slip into separate mind-frames due to all my different characters, but mainly optimism seems to be the best choice anyway. *Smiles, then huggles.* Hehe, thanks. Its much appreciated, Yggdrasill. Well, the problem lies in the fact that I'm only sixteen. I can't legally rent an apartment away from where my mom lives, nor do I have a job yet, or even a license. So, it kind of creates issues in that fact. *Sweatdrop.* But the good thing about starting college at sixteen, at least for me is, I'll have already graduated from highschool. So I'm also planning on taking a semester off of math. (Worst subject by far.)

@sabaku: lol I see, of course you can call her whatever you like. She hasnt shown any objections yet. XD
@moonlight: hehe why not? I dont see a problem even if people misunderstood you two as blood-related sisters, it actually makes you feel closer to each other, doesnt it?
Sure I will send you a PM if you do wanna check it out. I've been devoting lots of time, energy and even money on my PokeMansion. XD
Sounds interesting, I like your default skin and it looks like you are quite good at it. ^^ The only potential issue is that the longer you stick to proboard, the harder decision it is to move. But you will have to find this out for yourself.
Actually there were many reasons why the forum became active again in summer. We were pretty much facing this challenge - To stay alive or go out of business. Luckily we made some really smart decisions and got hundreds of new members since then. The current stats taken from the bottom of my forum is:
Threads: 6,014 Posts: 131,293 Members: 2017 Active Members: 185
Still not big enough to be considered even a medium sized forum, so a long way to go. XD
I see, you are indeed following the correct path of building a forum, and again I am sure it will take off someday. I'd advise you to build a pokemon fansite so that members will find your forum this way. Also find yourself a few affiliates and exchange members. Dont be afraid of losing your members to other forums, your members seem to be loyal to you and I dont see it happening. ^^
Oh thats too bad, but it will get better someday. I hope you get into college and receive scholarship, and this will help you a lot financially. XD
@ Diamondgirl: Alright, I will check it out when I have time. The last week of class for me, and finals will come right afterwards. *sigh*

Hehe, same here. Its amusing, but in a good way. ^_^
Please do, Yggdrasil. I'd be interested in doing so.
*Grins.* Took me a bit of tweaking to be satisfied with the default skin, but I like this one the most as well. Touche. But aside from the memory dump, I don't have any problems with Proboards considering its free.
Mmm. That would be good reasoning to find a way back into activity, I have to agree. Quite a jump, though. Its still a far cry more active than SoJ is, I'd assume. (Of course, you know what "assume" means. *Sweatdrop.*)
*Nods.* Considering what to make the fansite itself about before I make it, though. But yes, I've also been trying to slowly add affiliates and such to our roster. We just need a button instead of a banner, although I don't have the digital art skills to do those. So that is a work in progress.
Same here. I was going to enter contests for writing scholarships, actually. (According to an english professor I've been writing at college level for a few years. >_>)

Yeah, amusing in a good way. Looks like everyone on this forum is attached to you, its good to have a fanbase like this. ^^
Alright PMed you the link, you know what I am saying. XD
I understand, proboard is good for smaller forums so again it strongly depends on what your expectations for your forum to be. Have fun if you like it, the reason why I brought up such a concern was that some people do not really know the potentials of their forums and they were stuck with proboard once the forums had chances to grow.
Indeed, surprisingly activity did not drop in winter this time as I'd expected before. We actually had 70+ members online in the past 24 hours, while it was only about 25 one year ago in December 2009. So yeah, sometimes good decision making can get you somewhere. For your forum, I'd say develop a good RP and invite people from fanfiction.net whenever possible. XD
Alright, its a matter of time for you to figure out how to create a nice fansite. I can actually ask my artists to make you buttons for SOJ, if you dont mind.
I hope it works out for you then, scholarships are quite important for most of us and not everyone can stay alive without scholarship. I am sorta lucky 'cause I am the single child of my family.

Okay, going to the mall (Yuck) to have my earrings fixed. Recently got them pierced, two months ago, and they -won't- come out. So we're due to a visit at Claire's.
Hehe, yeah. I'm not sure if it could be considered a fanbase, per se, but it is nice to have so many people I'd consider friends.
*Nods.* Mmmhmm.
Yeah, you do have a good point. I do like Proboards aside from one or two features they're missing, and this is pretty active. Especially considering that we're only eight months old. ^_^
Wow ... That's fantastic. Congratulations. ^_^
Oh ... That's a good idea. I hadn't thought of advertising on Fanfiction.net, for some reason. Not sure why, since I have an account there. Must have been more tired than I thought lately. (Must be constantly waking up at 5am. Yay.)
*_* I'd really appreciate that, Yggdrasill. *Super huggles.*
Hehe, yeah. Mom's trying to pay for my brother's college now, and its really expensive. So ... Yeah, I really want to get a scholarship.
