Oh the thread is up, have fun ladies. ^^ And btw, you can adopt pokemon from adoption center at any time, but you can only adopt a starter pokemon such as Bulbasaur and Charmander when you do not have a pokemon in your party. Therefore, I strongly advise you to enter the research lab first to get your starter or you will miss this chance.
