Rairr growled mentally at his sister as she protested, warning her not to interfere, and to do as he asked... but it was unneeded, as he felt her focus and turn into something alien, something odd and different than her dragon form. He breathed a mental sigh of relief... she would be okay. Somebody would find her, take her in, heal her wounds--and then she could disappear, turning back into her original form, and stay by his side. He promised himself that he'd watch her much more closely from now on--he couldn't allow her to come to harm any more.
Performing a barrel roll, he dove through the crowd one more time for good measure, this time out of pure spite for the human race. He hated them, and right now, he hated them even worse because he had to depend on them to keep his sister safe...
- I will leave, sister, don't worry, -[/b] Rairr promised, swooping away. - Just be safe... besides, I'm way too good for them to get me,-[/b] he added, smirking slightly. Knowing that her mental link would break with the effort it took to transform, he broke it off, satisfied that she would be safe... for now. He would constantly check in, seeing if she was all right.
He stretched his neck forward, about to call on his invisibility shield, when suddenly--WHAM! Roaring, Rairr looked behind him to see an altaria zooming towards him at top speed. It must have stricken him with an attack... an attack from behind, the coward. Snarling viciously, Rairr turned in an about-face, his eyes fierce and flashing with anger.
- That was a mistake, -[/b] he hissed menacingly, eyes glowing with a bright white light. The latios shot at the bird-dragon with a strong Psywave attack, still flying away as he did so. Rairr activated his invisibility shield quickly, trying to escape, or at least get away from so many humans...
Roaring in pain, he shot straight to the nearest mountain, needing high ground to get away from all the humans. He didn't realize that he was dealing with a Dragon Tamer, who would know where he was probably going... and he didn't realize that the altaria's attack had left a gash in his side, making him bleed--effectively leaving a very easy trail for any trainer to follow.
------
Laila's face turned grim at the sight before them--she'd seen everything, the trainer sending her Pokemon to attack the latios from behind, all to capture it. It was obviously distressed, judging by its roars and strange behavior, exposing itself... was it trying to get captured? Apparently not, seeing as it was attempting to fly away... so why did it come over here amidst the humans in the first place? Truly a puzzling question...
She marched straight up to Angela, who wasn't very far away, and got in her face, poking a finger at her.
"I dunno who you think you are, lady, but you don't just attack a Pokemon when it's not looking," she said bossily, scowling. Fiona mewled beside her angrily, obviously agreeing with her mistress. "There's something wrong with that latios, roaring and drawing attention to itself like that, obviously." Laila sneered at the woman trainer. "I thought you were a Dragon Tamer, not someone who needlessly attacked them."
She huffed and crossed her arms, black hoodie sleeves falling sloppily across her hands. Selfish, selfish people... they were all the same. With one long, calculating look, Laila turned to leave, intending to follow the trail that the latios had left behind. If nothing else, she had to heal the poor thing...

“Oh!” Rowen knelt down next to the girl, and pulled off her backpack, already trying to find her first aid kit. “Will, do me a favor and go get fire wood.” She snapped. The dark haired teen nodded, running off. Rowen knew what she was doing, having two older brothers and always having to take care of their various wounds from stupid stunts and the occasional shock from Mako. Rowen wasn’t all that worried. The girl’s wound wasn’t all that terribly horrible, she noticed. The reason she had sent William to go get wood, was that she couldn’t work with people hovering around her. The blonde started getting antiseptic and anesthetic that was in gel form out and started applying it. Rowen breathed a sigh of relief after she cleaned the girl’s injury, seeing that it wasn’t as bad as it could have been. The Aura user sat back pleased with her work. There was nothing much she could do until the girl woke up. Well, there was one thing…. The blue eyed girl took a deep breath, closing her eyes. She imagined the girls life energy being refilled, and was a little shocked to see that her Aura looked different from say, William’s or her own. Oh well, it was more than likely since she was hurt and had lost some blood. Rowen found she was humming under her breath, and smiled in spite of the situation. The blonde haired girl wasn’t one for humming much, but right now she was. That was when she heard a rustling in the woods. “Will?” She called, sure that the fire and fighting type trainer wasn’t back already. A Sneasel came of out the woods, and looked hurt. “Oh, no! You poor thing!” Rowen cried, and the weak catlike Pokemon stumbled over to her. “Sneasel.” The Pokemon said, and Rowen automatically pulled the medicine towards her and started fixing its wounds. The Sneasel had odd colored eyes, silver almost. Rowen smiled, applying the last bandage. “There you go.” She said happily.

Angela was surprised enough when this girl marched right up to her, poking a finger at her and scolding her for her action that she actually took a step back, her usually stony face showing her surprise at being accosted...by a girl, no less. The Luxio also acting rather offended at her actions only increased Angela's shock, to the point where she was completely speechless.
In her mind, Angela was not just capturing that Latios for personal gain...the creature was obviously distressed, and presently, a threat to the Trainers around here as well. Angela was certain that capturing it, allowing it to mingle with other Dragon Pokemon back at Blackthorn City, would help it calm down once more, back to the more docile, passive nature research suggested the Eons were meant to behave like. Despite this, Angela was the kind who could go to pretty much any lengths to get her way, and this meant that, one way or another, she was going to find and capture that Latios.
But by the time Angela recovered enough to attempt to snap back at the young Trainer, both she and the Luxio were gone, and Calder was once more beside her, looking a little dazed from Rairr's Psywave attack, but otherwise fine...Angela's Pokemon were all well-trained, and very sturdy. But the Latios, it seemed, had escape, although Calder's determined look suggested it might know where it had gone. "Alright, Calder, you ready to go find that Eon?" she asked, getting a determined nod and trill from the Altaria in return.
Smiling lightly, although it was a smile that held very little warmth, Angela quickly hopped onto the Altaria's back, having trained it to bear her weight comfortably for easy movement around tough terrain, the Altaria taking off as soon as she was secure, floating rather gracefully on the air as it searched out the Latios' scent, finding it rather quickly thanks to the blood trail the Eon had left behind...the Dragon Pulse attack had done a bit more damage than intended.
As they flew low over the trees, Angela smiling as she saw the mountains ahead, knowing the Latios must have gone that way, she too caught the metallic scent of blood, and sighed, ruffling Calder's head lightly. "Next time, Calder, take it easy...I don't want to kill the Latios," she scolded lightly, the Altaria giving another nod before upping the pace, eager to redeem himself for his earlier failure...he had underestimated the Latios, not used to dealing with Legendaries...next time, though, he would not fail...
----------
Rowen's quick first-aid, along with her brief Aura transfer, seemed to do the trick for Anna. While normally, someone with that much blood loss would be unconscious for hours, if not a day or two, it took the disguised Pokemon less than an hour to come to, stirring and groaning as her arm ached, memories slowly returning to her. She opened her eyes, finding herself on the forest floor, pretty much where she had collapsed earlier. Remembering that she was still in human form, she slowly sat up, groaning as the small movement made her head pound painfully. She felt like throwing up...but given her predicament, that was better than feeling like she was about to pass out again.
Slowly supressing her nausea, she slowly got to her feet, the disguised Latias stumbling awkwardly as her headache, coupled with her instinct of being an airborne creature left her balance way out of touch. Leaning heavily against a tree for support, Anna waited for her headache to ease a little, before looking herself over. Her left arm, previously slick with blood from the ferocious Fearow wound, had been cleaned and dressed, the copper-haired girl feeling a gel-like substance underneath the bandages someone had applied.
Suddenly remembering the two humans that had found her just before she passed out, Anna whirled around, looking for them, only for her gaze to fall on a lone human...the female of the two from before. Anna briefly wondered where the male had gone, but put it aside, trying to think of something to say to this human. She had observed humans for some time, enough to know how to avoid drawing attention to herself while in her human form...but actually socialising with them was something even Anna had never done before...she may be bold and curious, but not that badly.
As it was, any words Anna might have been about to say faltered as she noticed the injured Sneasel with the girl, causing her to take an involuntary step backward. As a Dragon and Psychic crosstype in her true form, Anna naturally was wary around Dark and Ice-types, knowing her kind had an aversion to those elements...among others. As it was, she just stood there, staring at the girl and the Sneasel, her mind still trying to catch up after the rather rapid series of events from before, now that she was safe...somewhat.

William was lost. There was no way to deny that the dark haired boy was completely alone. Even so, he tried calling for Rowen. “Um, Row?” He called out. No reply. He sighed and sat down. Leave it to him to get his butt lost. Still, he was curious as ever and looked around, trying to try and remember what way he had come. Crack. William spun around, holding his breath, reaching for the pokeball that held his Riolu. The brown eyed boy held his breath, waiting….
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, Rowen was tending to the wounded Sneasel. The blonde haired girl found it oddly soothing. She sighed and finished tightening the bandage, and grinned at the Pokémon. “There you go! How would you like to become part of my team?” She offered, pulling out a pokeball from her bag. The Sneasel considered for a moment before nodding and touching the pokeball, going inside. Rowen grinned. “I just got a Sneasel! I think I’ll name you Silver.” She decided. That’s when she felt she wasn’t alone. She turned, and saw that the girl was up. “You look better. Hi, I’m Rowen.” The blue eyed girl smiled.

Anna watched with some guarded fascination as the human tended to the Sneasel, before gasping as the creature willingly allowed itself to be captured. In all her time studying humans, she had only ever seen a Pokemon captured by force...never before, had she seen a human give the Pokemon a choice or say in the matter. And even if she had, she would never in a million years think that a Pokemon would accept such an offer. She knew Rairr would have a fit...if he even believed her when she told him later.
The shock of it almost made Anna miss the girl's greeting and introduction, but she managed to snap herself back to the present after a few more moments. "Sorry, um...hi, Rowen," she greeted, her voice rather awkward and shy. Despite hanging around humans, she tended not to socialise with them, and as such tended to be a little awkward when directly communicating with one. "I...my name's Anna," she finally greeted, forcing herself to remember to adopt her human identity, calling herself Auda could bring some seriously unwanted attention, even if, from her experience, Rowen seemed to be a fairly unusual name, anyway.
The disguised Pokemon rubbed her sore arm unconsciously, feeling the bandages. She looked down at it, flexing the arm experimentally, finding that it moved freely, although deliberate movement tended to make it sting a bit. Looking back up, she eyed Rowen again, still a little frightened and cautious. "Uhh...are you the one who helped me?" she asked, even if she knew the answer already. "Thank you."
Anna looked around the forest, trying to figure out exactly where she was...she was sorely tempted to just leave this human, find a secluded spot to transform back and fly away...find Rairr again. But she could tell her Psychic powers were still weak from the stress and strain they had been under, and her blood loss was still leaving her weaker than normal...she would have to stay as a human for several more hours, most likely, and if she stayed with this Rowen, perhaps the human girl could help her for a little bit.

Rowen smiled at the girl. "Sorry, um...hi, Rowen," she greeted. "I...my name's Anna,” The blue eyed girl nodded. “Hi, Anna. It’s nice to meet you.” She said, grinning. ‘Boy, am I happy that I’m not so shy anymore, otherwise this could get kinda awkward…’ The Aura user thought to herself thankfully. The blue eyed girl had, up until last year, been shy as well, but she expressed hers in a different way. While Anna seemed quiet, Rowen had hidden her un-sureness behind biting words, and sarcastic comments. Or, at least she tried to. Only two people not counting her brothers and adults, of course, had only been able to break through the walls she had placed around herself.
William was one of them, and she still remembered the day when he had finally yelled at her to stop being so stupid and selfish. She had looked confused at his outburst, not sure what he meant. It was one of the few days Rowen wasn’t busy, so she decided to heard over to Lavender Town, maybe get to see William for a little while. Of course, the dark haired boy had been overjoyed to see her, and had hugged her tightly. Rowen had remained still at his touch for a moment, but pulled back quickly, giving him a sharp glare. “Anti-hugging policy, remember?” She had snapped. William being the best friend he was, nodded and said she wouldn’t hug her again, even though the pain was clear in his eyes.
It was a few incidents like that, William deciding he was going to mess with her hair, try to hold her hand, and then tickle her, and Rowen had glared each and every time and snapped at him. Rowen remembered the way William had looked…. He looked livid. “Will you stop being so stupid and selfish?” He had yelled. Rowen had frowned at him. “What do you mean?” She had replied. William had taken a deep breath and looked her clear in the eyes, chocolate brown meeting bright blue. “ I mean this: The way no one can touch you. I know you’re scared, I can see it in your yes. You don’t want to trust someone, only to have them desert you like your parents did.” Rowen had winced at this, but William went on. “Row, would I really do that? There are a lot of people who care about you, but you won’t let them in. Me included. Sure, you say I’m your best friend, but am I? Rowen, I love you. Why can’t you see that?” He had whispered, and then he kissed her. Rowen remembered how that, that kiss had broken her walls forever, left them so shattered that even if she did want to put them back up, she couldn’t.
"Uhh...are you the one who helped me?" Anna asked quietly, pulling Rowen out of her thoughts. Before the blue eyed girl had a chance to respond, Anna spoke again. "Thank you." Rowen smiled at her. “You’re welcome. It’s no problem. I’ve spent half my life making sure my older brothers don’t get themselves killed, so I know my way around cuts and bruises.” Rowen grinned.

Rairr's focus was wearing thin as he flew, his streamlined body instinctively carrying him forward upon high air drafts. As the Dragon Tamer became smaller below him, he simply went forward, looking for a spot to roost. ...There! A rocky outcropping. It would be fine for rest... that's all he wanted right now, a place to heal a bit, recover his mental focus, and recuperate after the shock of adrenaline left his system. The possibility of losing his beloved sister had rocked him to the core, and the aftermath had left him mentally and emotionally exhausted.
I need sleep... don't care if it's dangerous... he though to himself, his eyelids flickering along with the invisibility shield he tried to throw up around himself.
Fluttering a bit, he lighted upon the precipice. Seeing a bit of underbrush and forest, he crawled awkwardly into it (his limbs were not built for walking as much as flying), curled up, and shut his eyes with a great big sigh. He was asleep within moments.
------------
Laila watched as the Latios flew until she could not see him anymore, a determined look hardening her eyes. She pressed her lips into a thin line as she pulled out a Poke Ball.
"Fiona... I need you to return for a while. I need to use Fenrir to surf our way around the crags to get to that Latios. He's hurt--and I think he's in distress, so we need to find him and make sure he's all right. It's my duty as a trainer, right?" She looked down at the luxio, who mewed in agreement, allowing herself to return into the ball. Plucking another from her belt, she pressed the button.
A giant, snakelike Pokemon emerged, blinking his eyes and turning to Laila curiously.
"Gyara?" It asked in its Poke-speech, twitching its back fin.
"Heya, Fen... I need you to carry me on the water," Laila explained, already tying her long blond hair back in a simple ponytail. "We have to find a hurt Pokemon and take care of him."
The gyarados tilted his head in slight understanding, getting the gist of Laila's speech. Fenrir was not as intelligent as his partners, especially when it came to understanding humans, but he'd learned to read the tones and body language when his trainer spoke and gestured. He slid his long body into the water, taking to it easily and rumbling in pleasure. Laila tentatively got onto his back, holding onto one of his fins, and they were off to find the Latios.

Anna couldn't help but laugh at Rowen's mention of having to fix up her brothers...it sounded so much like her and Rairr...the Latios always getting into trouble while she was left to scold him and make sure he was okay. "Sounds like me and my brother," she said, before trailing off slightly, realising that there was no sign of Rairr nearby. She got the impression she had not been unconscious for very long, but there was still no sign of the Latios anywhere.
Fear began to creep into Anna's system as she feared for her brother's safety, dreading the thought of him being captured by all the humans around here. No! she thought harshly, snapping herself out of it. He's fine, he'll have run off, like I asked him to... She briefly tried to reach out with her psychic powers, trying to form a link to Rairr's distinctive mind, but they were still too weak from their earlier overuse, and she could not find him.
Her mental search did, however, accidentally brush against Rowen's mind, and Anna quickly sensed that the girl was sensitive to Aura, and as such, likely could sense her attempts at telepathy. Startled and scared by the thought of being uncovered, she quickly snapped her psychic attempts down, glancing at Rowen, praying she had not noticed...telepathic abilities were generally considered exceptionally rare among humans, would Rowen be able to piece Anna's true identity together?
----------
As Angela flew, she looked down, and noticed the girl from before was also tailing the Latios, riding a Gyarados across a lake, taking an obvious shortcut to the mountainous terrain Calder was heading for, the Altaria still following the trail left by the Latios' hasty retreat. Frowning, Angela turned her gaze back forward, her eyes narrowing as she searched the rocky terrain for the Latios...she could not afford to let it get away again.
But the lake meant that the trail of blood had faded somewhat, forcing Calder to slow down and try and track the Eon through his passive scent alone, which was much harder for the blue bird-dragon to accomplish. "Come on, Calder, you can do this!" Angela grumbled, getting frustrated...the Latios' invisibility made it a really hard target to track...but she was certain that, if she could find it, the Eon would be hers...no male Pokemon had ever resisted the empathy and allure of her Milotic, Puella, before, and Angela was confident that the Legendary would not be an exception.

Rowen laughed at Anna’s response, but quickly frowned ever so slightly. She sensed something. Wishing William’s Riolu was around to help her with Aura sensing and what not, she focused, but couldn’t get a firm read on whatever it was that she had sensed. ‘Oh, well. I bet it’s nothing at all.’ Rowen thought to herself. Over the years, her Aura abilities had become so much more intoned. If she really concentrated, and focussed she could actually almost read minds. She wasn’t very good at it. After all, she had only tried it on her brothers, and William. She smiled slightly, but then remembered William wasn’t back yet. Looking around, a frown on her pale face she took a deep breath and sighed. “If he had gotten himself hurt, she would kill him.
‘Will? Please, if you can hear this, let me know somehow.’ She prayed silently, using her abilities to there fullest, hoping to get a idea, however vague, of where the dark haired teen was.
-----------------------------------------------------
William glanced around, sure something was there. “Hello?” He called again, getting more nervous by every growing second. That was when he felt a presence around him. However faint, it reminded him of Rowen. He knew that the Aura user was more than likely getting worried, but he couldn’t figure out a way to let her know he was fine, till Riolu let himself out o his pokeball. “Of course! Riolu, can you use your Aura to let Rowen know I’m fine?” William asked. The small pokemon nodded, closing it’s eyes and starting to glow a light blue.
