I was just wondering if one of us (i.e., me :3) could possibly create a fantasy universe, play all NPC characters, and be the mod of a set of RPs in that universe?
It would sort of work like Dungeons and Dragons--the 'normal' RPers would be the players with characters, interacting with the world I've created. I would be like the Dungeon Master (DM), have quests set up for various actions the characters may make, NPCs, shops, arenas, and the map for wherever the characters may roam. It could be any type of universe--for example, Moon, you could do it yourself for your fanmade Pokemon verse Erana.
This is slightly different from SoJ because the moderator would constantly be posting, not as a main character, but as the NPC shopkeeper, the 'crowd', the person describing the scene, the weather, and deciding what pertinent news and quests are available within the RP itself.
One idea that popped into my head was sort of a modern industrial fantasy world--a world where magic is real, but hidden underground. Secrets are kept, people are silenced, and perhaps a character could be a key to a big underground plan, or perhaps someone (a reporter, say) would discover something and try to get secrets out, etc.
So... what do you say?

I have a basic idea of the universe, with a few NPC characters and a mini-map I've sketched, but nothing entirely serious as of yet. When I have a fully fleshed out 'verse, I'll get back to you.
