For Generation III, my favorite pokemon is probably absol. It has so many possible myths behind it, ideas, and even character development as well. Not to mention a completely amazing design. ^_^ Following closely, though, is the Salamance and Ralts line. What can I say ... I simply love dragons, psychics, and dark types.

I like Latios personally because, rather than staying in one place, he roams around, making him impossible to find, and just as hard to catch.
He's a freebird. <3

Certainly true. Both of the Eon Siblings are amazing pokemon, both ingame and in fiction (anime/manga/etc). It's always nice to have such unique characters enter the fandom. ^_^

I'd have to say that my favorite pokemon from the third generation is Spoink.
After saving my entire team and living up to her namesake, my spoink Aerith has become my favorite pokemon.

Blaziken or even Flygon. Salamence, Metagross, Rayquaza (because I used tons of timer balls on him. Took forever. He was also my first shiny.  ) I can't decide between them. Don't make me choose. |

And a shiny?
That's epic!
If I EVER saw a shiny Rayquaza I know for a fact that I WOULD run out of pokeballs or accidentally kill it, LOL.

I'd have to say Kyogre is my favorite. Most of the 3rd gen are either mediocre in my opinion, or I've forgotten them. The legendaries are nice though. Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza are all quite good.
Kyogre is totally my favorite though.

Ahhh, let's see... Mightyena, cause it's so aggressive-looking, Absol, cause it's so cold-blooded, and... Rayquaza is good ;D
