OK, time for me to say one thing.
Bowser as a villain is awesome because he can easily be adapted to the situation.
e.g. Galaxy games essentially had the idea of BOWSER AS A GOD AT THE CENTRE OF THE UNIVERSE; whereas in the party games, stealing coins was his main priority; and even in the Mario and Luigi games, he is a fittingly humorous villain...
...Even if he doesn't succeed. XD

Ha, ha, I'm not knowledgable enough in video games to really add anything to the discussion. ;D So I'll just leave with this: I absolutely hate the mom from Boy's Over Flowers. In every version I've watched I've never liked her. To me, she is the absolute worst villian out there. Okay, I'm done!

*Sweatdrop.* I have no idea. Maybe Dara-chan will enlighten us?
But, yeah, it doesn't have to be just video-game villains. It can be from any medium - Anime, manga, comics, literature, movies, what have you. Just as long as you think they deserve a slot on this thread. ^^

BOYS OVER FLOWERS IS AMAZING! It's the Korean tv drama for the manga Hana Yori Dango. Basically, a normal girl named Jan-di finds herself at a prestigous school where she becomes the suspect of F4's attacks. F4, which is short for flower four, is a group of four boys who belong to four of the most powerful families in Korea. Gu Jun Pyo, the leader of F4, terrorizes Jan-di unmerciful, garnering her hatred in return. Poor Gu Jun Pyo then falls head over heels for the stuborn and resilent Jan-di. Jan-di though has a crush on another member of F4, Jihoo. Later on though, Jan-di and Jun Pyo reconcile and become a couple. They face many trails though as Jun Pyo's cold-hearted mother wishes to break up the pair. This is one of my favorite versions of the manga and the best Korean drama ever. (Hana Yori Dango is the Japanese version which spans two seasons and one film and Meteor Garden is the Taiwanese version which is also two seasons. MG is really low budget though so be prepared to laugh A LOT.) Yes, it's plot is far-fetched. Yes, sometimes you are laughing your head off during the real serious scenes, but it has a sweetness to it that makes it such a pleasurable show. You should watch some on YouTube. mysoju.com is also a really good place to watch dramas at. Anyways, I can talk about dramas all day, but you probably wouldn't like that so I'll stop here. I just thought of an awesome villian though: Team Rocket! Who could ever forget them. They are so much fun! XD Every time I watch Pokemon I love seeing them show up. That's the best part of the show for me. I just wanted to add this video to give you guys a better idea of BOF. Enjoy!

That does sound like a good show/manga~. I'm usually not much for dramas, but I'd read this one.

They call them tv dramas, but they range anywhere from comedy to medical to romance. BOF is romantic comedy, and honestly the best besides Goong and Devil Beside You. Ha, ha, I seemed to have started a stir in this post. We're no longer talking about vilians anymore!

Lolz, so, do you know where I can watch/read those? It'd be interesting.
*Chuckles.* Yeah, a bit. What is the main villain like in the one you mentioned, though?

If you want to watch Boys Over Flowers they have all the episodes on www.mysoju.com (my favorite site <3). You can also watch the Japanese (Hana Yori Dango) and Taiwanese (Meteor Garden) versions on this site. Phantom likes the Japanese version a lot better than the Korean, but I say, "Go, Gu Jun-Pyo!" When I was in to manga I would read BOY at mangareader.net. I'm not sure if it's still up or not, but I know they have the whole series here at out library. Heh, heh, that's not much help though is it. ^_^" In the Korean version, Jun-pyo's mother, President Kang, is ruthless. She is cold, proud, and calculating, always hoping to make some fortune off of her children, which means she's willing to marry them off to total strangers. What I dislike about her the most is that as a mother she does not even try to have a relationship with her children. Yet with all these bad qualities fighting against her, for some reason you can't but help being fascinated with her. She holds her head up high through everything, although sometimes it seems she's not human. Still she plays her role nicely. She's the perfect villian, adding suspense and intrigue to this light hearted drama.
