The Legend of Zelda Ascent of the Demon King
Intro: Welcome one and all to my first attempt at running an RP! I chose The Legend of Zelda universe as the setting, as it's arguably my favorite fantasy universe, and the potential for story, character development, etc. is almost unparalleled. I hope you enjoy your time in the RP! See below for all the info you'll need to join. ;DPlot:Thirty years have passed since Ganondorf’s defeat and the subsequent destruction of the Mirror of Twilight. The hero of Hyrule has since returned to his old life, dwindling into obscurity as was his wish. Peace has reigned across Hyrule as Princess Zelda has worked tirelessly to rebuild that which was lost. The rulers of the Gorons and Zora joined with Zelda to create the first royal union in centuries. As a by-product of this union, the peoples of Hyrule have banded together in ways unprecedented and a great prosperity has fallen on Hyrule. This prosperity, however, draws evil like moth to the flame. The forces of the underworld have awoken and seen this prosperity. And they want it. For centuries they have served as Ganondorf’s pawns and petty foot soldiers, yet a king has arisen in their midst. This king was once a man of Hyrule, a Sheikah of great power. His thievery earned him the loss of his hands. His betrayal earned him the loss of his head. He was once thought defeated in ancient times by the Hero of Time, but he has manifested himself once more. The demon king has begun a guerilla campaign against the allied peoples of Hyrule. Small strike forces of his new breed of Stalfos have been ravaging the Hylian countryside for nigh on a year. They strike villages and farms without warning and then disappear into the mist as though they never existed. Princess Zelda has put out a desperate call for help, calling warriors, mages, fighters, and anyone able to wield weapons or magic to help. Race matters not in the battle against the foes arrayed against Hyrule, for the underworld will either fall by your blades, or it will devour all. Notable NPCs:Princess Zelda Darbus, King of the Gorons Elder Gor Coron Elder Gor Amoto Elder Gor Ebizo Elder Gor Liggs Ralis, King of the Zora Renado, Shaman of Kakariko Village Bo, Mayor of Ordon Village Skullkid, interloper of the Lost Woods The Demon King Stalfos Lieutenant-General Ghavriaxz

Race/Class Combinations, Character Application Info, Rules, Special Extra Info, etc. Races [First Glance]:Hylian Goron Zora Deku Sheikah Gerudo Fairy "Fairy" Subrosian/Garo Races [In-Depth]:Hylian: Hylians are the primary denizens of Hyrule. They resemble elves with their long, pointed ears and typically blonde hair. They are generally of average height and build, and slightly above average intelligence. They are adept at swordplay, magic, and using bows, though they can use almost any weapons handed to them. Gorons: Gorons are the mighty race of giant, stone-eating people from Death Mountain. They can take immense punishment and still not flinch. They use primarily their fists, though some have been known to fashion great hammers or war axes to use. They wear no armor, as their skin is as tough as the mountain they live on. Gorons can use only fire-based magic. Zora: The Zora are an enigmatic race of aquatic humanoids. Their home lies at the top of Zora's Fountain, south of Death Mountain. They are at home both underwater and on land, and can breathe water as if it were air. They are nimble, fleet-footed warriors of great repute, using primarily thin katanas. They are also incredibly adept at using magic of any kind, though their strongest mages control water. They can only wear light armor, nothing heavier than chain, as their mobility will be hindered. Deku: The Deku are the small, woodland children of the Great Deku Tree. They make their home in the hidden Kokiri Forest. Since they are so small, Deku excel at stealth. They prefer to use their illusions and trickery to get them where they need to go, but are not afraid to use daggers and poison when necessary. Sheikah: The Sheikah are a very rare race. Since the events cause by the Hero of Time, there have never been more than ten Sheikah living in Hyrule, and no one knows their secret dwelling. Sheikah are similar to the Deku, in that they focus primarily in stealth. They differ whereas the Deku would prefer petty thievery, the Sheikah prefer the art of assassination. Sheikah are deadly allies, and even deadlier enemies. Gerudo: Gerudos are a race of all-female desert thieves who make their homes near the Desert Colossus, deep in the Derudo Desert. A single male is born to them once every hundred years, but in recent times, no males have been seen. They are deadly duelists, having perfected the art of formal swordplay. They also enjoy using spears. Fairy: Fairies are the children of the Great Fairies, said to have been in existence during the days of the Hero of Time. They are very small, and are sometimes used as spies and infiltrators, as their size allows them access to many places other races simply cannot reach. They do not attack directly, but rather use magic. They are primarily healers by nature, but some have learned to reverse their healing magics, making them very, very dangerous. "Fairy": "Fairies" are those who, much like the fabled Tingle, think themselves to in fact be fairies when they are nothing more than average men. "Fairies" may not look strong, but if you insult them, you will be in for a world of hurt. Subrosian/Garo: The Subrosians or Garos are lone, wandering warriors. None in Hyrule know exactly where they come from, or who they serve. They are deadly with a blade, and often strike from the shadows. They despise light of any kind, and generally can be found wandering the wastes of the Gerudo Desert after dusk, and in the musty caverns of Death Mountain. Classes:I'll be pretty flexible on this one, as you technically don't need a specific "class" to be approved. For example, a warrior and fighter are the same thing, and a thief and a rogue are essentially the same thing. You can also give yourself a custom class name. For example, if you are a fighter who prefers dual-wielding swords, you can call yourself a Whirlwind Fighter, or Blademaster. Just give yourself a cool title, and I'll tell you if you need to change it. Race/Class Combinations:This just takes some common sense. You will never see a Goron Sorcerer hurling water spells across a battlefield, nor will you see a Fairy wielding a massive hammer. Again, just go with what feels natural, and I'll let you know if something needs to change. Character Application:The main reason I'm using a character application is because I don't want everyone having a bunch of random characters jump in and out of the RP. Since I'm in charge, I'd like to know how many current characters there are, and so forth. So, all you have to do is fill out this little application, post it here, and I'll let you know asap! Application Form:Your Screenname: Character Name: Gender: Race: Class: Weapons/Magic: Clothing/Armor: Age: Gender: Appearance: History: Personality: Now, I won't be a Nazi on detail, but the more detail you provide in every aspect, the better your application will be. Rules:Rule #1: Try your best to stay serious. Comedic relief is always welcome, but a saturation of comedy will detract from the matter at hand. Remember, your character is a living, breathing person in Hyrule. The things that are happening in that world affect your characters, so have your character act accordingly. Rule #2: You are not God. Seriously. Everyone has a weak spot. No one is invulnerable. You can have invulnerability spells if you are a magic user, but you cannot use this all the time. One use per day ought to be fair, and it last for no longer than ten minutes. You can have no more than one spell causing this effect as well. Rule #3: If you're posting in the RP thread itself, I want OOC chatting to be kept to a minimum, and any OOC chatting will be shown by posting in (). Reminding someone of the rules, or asking a quick question is totally fine, but if I see an entire OOC conversation going on, the hammer will fall. Rule #4: Character Limit. I'm putting a character limit down because if you really take the time to create a good character, will you really want to create thirteen more? Seriously? I'm limiting character creation to three characters per user, simply because too many characters can make things difficult to follow. Rule #5: Don't flame. Just don't. If I see any, you'll be in big trouble for the RP for at least a week. If it continues... Well, let's just say it had better not continue. Rule #6: Please please please please PLEASE do your best to use proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. I will tolerate most things, but a blatant disregard for the language you use will result in some sort of punishment. Rule #7: Finally, all these rules are subject to my personal interpretation. If I think you're breaking the rules, you're breaking the rules. I will give you time to defend yourself properly, but my decision will be final. I won't post any official "If you do this, this happens" notices. Rather, what happens will be determined by what has happened. Special Extra Info:Just be smart and play by the rules. I hope this RP will be lots of fun, with lots of posts and lots of story development. ;D

Here's my main character. Your Screenname: Kaine Character Name: Zathrien Vel’ Gular Gender: Male Race: Hylian Class: Blademaster Weapons: Two twinblade katanas named Zathar and Kelvun Magic: Zathrien has basic control over the water element, though he is practicing constantly. Clothing/Armor: Clothes and a suit of light chain mail Age: 31 Appearance: Zathrien is slightly taller than your average Hylian, measuring about six feet, five inches tall. He is trim and in shape, and his body is very muscular. His hair is jet black, unlike most Hylians, and his eyes are pure forest green. He wears his hair just under shoulder length and lets his bangs hang down in front of his face, covering most of his upper face. He wears a simple suit of chainmail underneath his outer garments, providing protection and mobility. His outer garments consist of a dark blue tunic and black, travel-worn trousers. History: Zathrien Vel’ Gular was born into a wealthy family in Hyrule Castle Town. From a young age, he idolized the many palace guards and vowed to join their ranks. Upon his eighteenth birthday, he enlisted in the Hylian army. He was stationed in the Lost Woods with a company of men he had never seen before. From the beginning of his assignment, tragedy struck. En route to the Lost Woods, they were waylaid by Gerudo bandits and half the company perished, including their commanding officer. As Zathrien was obviously the best fighter still alive, the men elected him to be their leader. They ran for the Lost Woods as quickly as they could, but when they arrived, tragedy had struck there as well. The fortress they were to report to had been ransacked and completely deserted. It looked to Zathrien that the building had been vacated less than a week before, as all the food stores were still safe and healthy to eat. He set the men about, repairing and restoring the fortress as best they could. Zathrien sent one man back to Castle Town to give his report, and to let their superiors what had transpired. A week went by without word. That week turned into a month. The month turned into a year. No word had been sent back, and they had yet to even see the friend who took the message. When three, grueling years had passed, Zathrien could wait no longer. He left five men to guard the fortress and headed the search party himself. They found a skeleton not a mile from the fortress, a letter hidden in its satchel. They had found their messenger. Disheartened, they returned to the fortress to find it besieged by a force of Stalchildren. Zathrien and his men leapt to the defense of the fortress they had come to call home and narrowly defeated the Stalchildren. Seven men, including Zathrien, survived the battle, but watching the Stalchildren retreat, they knew their fight was far from over. As the men gleaned what sleep they could from that horrible night, a chill mist crept about the forest. Beasts of evil and servants of dark magic came out into the pathways of the Lost Woods and began marching towards Zathrien’s fortress. Before this night, his numbers had been too great for an assault, but the Stalchildren had weakened them, and the forces of darkness took their opportunity. Zathrien’s lookout tried to shout a warning, but his scream was stopped cold. He did succeed in rousing another man, and before long, Zathrien rushed out to see what had happened. He saw bits of flesh, bone, and blood scattered across the fortress wall and knew their doom was upon them. He watched as Stalfos knights, darkened fairies, and Wizzrobes all surrounded his fortress. He looked at his men and saw a grim determination in their eyes, a determination that shouted they were not giving any ground until they all lay dead upon the ground. A magnificent battle took place in the Lost Woods that night. Zathrien and his men fought valiantly, but the inevitable could not be denied. One by one, Zathrien’s men slowly fell to their enemies. Finally, only Zathrien remained. Blood was seeping from dozens of wounds crisscrossing his battered body, his left arm had gone dead though it still clamped a hold on his katana, and his right eye was swollen closed. He searched frantically for some route of escape and was granted a blessing from the gods. Zathrien dashed out the fortress’s back exit and ran for the borders of the Lost Woods. After several minutes of running, he looked back to see no pursuit. He instantly slowed to a brisk walk and tried to find a way to relieve the pain. As the sun came up, he exited the Lost Woods. He felt a great weight lift his shoulders, as if the forest itself had been oppressing him. He returned to Castle Town as quickly as he could. Many of the townsfolk openly stared and gaped at this battered military man traipsing down the main avenue. They whispered and pointed at him, wondering what a man in such a poorly state was doing there. He managed to reach his army’s headquarters and demanded an audience with any general of the highest rank. He looked up when he heard footsteps, expecting to see an army official. Instead, the Royal Guard had been called, led by the High General himself. They carried heavy chains and the High General held a scroll. Zathrien hung his head; the army had thought him a deserter. The High General read the charges to Zathrien and proclaimed him to be a deserter and a traitor of the highest degree. The Royal Guard attempted to take him into custody, but they were cut down when they came within inches of his katanas. He dashed back out of the city as quickly as he could, and has been living as a vigilante in the wilderness ever since. Personality: Zathrien is a very bitter individual. Since he joined the Hylian army, he has been pushed around and beaten down constantly. He hardly lets anyone know his real name, and he never trusts anyone. He is also a survivor. He is not afraid to make any sacrifice in the name of justice. While this may seem a paradox, a man who trusts no one yet fights in the name of justice, it is who Zathrien is. He could never bring himself to perform evil, yet he cannot let even those most benevolent of individuals close enough to gain his trust.

Meh, I'm copy-pasting again. Sorry, but I don't feel like editing.
Your Username: DiamondGirl
Name: Dark Link
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Race: Hylian
Homeland: Hyrule
Class/Job (optional): Rouge warrior,
Appearance: He is in every way the dark duplicate of the Hero of Time. He is the same height and build, but darker in skin and his hair is as dark as a moonless night. His eyes are a bloody red, and his teeth a striking white against the dark tan of his face. He doesn't look a day over 18, and doesn't seem to age physically. He's strong and skilled.
Attire: He wears gray leggings and a gray undershirt, with a black tunic over that. He has a black version of the iconic floppy hat and plain leather boots. He has a belt, at which holds his magic bag, which holds his assortment of various weapons and trinkets he's collected over his years. His shield and scabbard are slung over his back, to be out of his way while traveling. He also has a face obscuring black cloak that he wears when in towns for supplies or news. He wears it most of the time.
Weapons/Armor/Magic: - Weapons: He uses mainly the Dark Master Sword and a dark version of the Hylian shield. But he has a bow and arrow, and with magic can harness the power of the fire and ice arrows. He had bombs as well as many weapons from past Links arsenals, such as the Ball and Chain, though he's better with the more traditional ones, that he was raised using.
- Armor: He doesn't wear any armor other than a chain-mail shirt underneath his undershirt and tunic.
- Magic: He has the ability to use a deluded form of Din's Fire and Nayru's love, the former being either a concentrated fire-blast or fireball while the latter is a very effect shield that lasts for mere moments, as it taxes him to use it. He also has the magic to use the fire and ice arrows, as stated previously.
Hobbies/Occupations: He trains with his weapons to release stress and plays distorted versions of the classic Ocarina tunes on his ocarina. The melodies often leave the audience with a chilled and hollow feeling.
Skills/Abilities: - Skills: He's strong and study, able to lift heavy weights due to his supernatural powers, being the Hero of Time's counterpart and able to go the fetes he does.
- Abilities: He can hypnotize people for a short amount of time with eye contact, but to do so taxed him. He has minor shape-shifting powers and can change his hair and eye color to hide who he is from both friend and foe. He has fangs which are sharp and can tear a chuck out of you if he bites you.
Personality: As he has matured with age, he isn't as rash as he used to be, though he is still emotional and the rashness in action still exists. He tries to stay calm and loyal, but his existence has been hollow and repetitive for him. Though many warriors still seek out of cleanse the shadow from Hyrule. He cares nothing for them, want only to prove himself as Link's eaqual, or to be accepted as his own person.
He cares deeply for few things, save innocence. He will lie to try and preserve it, and often finds himself defending random children he doesn't know. He cares for animals as well, but doesn't care much for people, as they tend to attack him.
When angry, he grows very silent and doesn't respond other than to strike you. He grows silent when thinking deeply, so it is hard to tell if you have made him angry or cause him to think about what you have said.
He is not bad at heart, and knows this. He doesn't know quite what to do with himself sometimes, but he is loyal.
Bio/History: He was created two years before Link awoke from his seven year sleep. During those two years, he was beaten daily. It's given him great endurance and skill, but sudden movement of the arms by allies cause him to flinch to this day. He was taught magic by a con artist mage who worked for Ganondorf a short time.
After Ganondorf's first reign, he seemed to vanish from legend, only his sword remaining. The truth being he vanished with Link, as the two are tied. One cannot kill the other, nor can one live without the other. Though he has learned to live off Link's descendants, though he is weakened severely when there is not a true Link about.
During the reign of Twilight, he kept out of Link's way, not really caring who won at the time, as long as he got to face Link, which he did. And he lost as this link, while not having magic of any sort, had new tools to use against him. He trained for a rematch ever sense.
Currently he lives like a mercenary under the name Derrick Lin, a brown haired, green eyed boy of eighteen, though even when posing as Derrick Lin, he does not always bear this form as shape-shifting and holding those forms tires him quickly, and he cannot hold the forms in sleep.
Likes: Company and solitude, winning a battle, living.
Dislikes: Loosing, abuse, cruelty to those undeserving.
Weaknesses/Strengths: - Weaknesses: He has a harsh temper and a tenancy to become emotionally attached to things that could hamper his missions. Along with his rash behavior, causing him to follow instincts rather than logic most times.
- Strengths: He is very loyal, bonding to those he works for, though many times it can be slow. He also has very fast reflexes from his first two years of life's abuse, as he learned to dodge.
Other Noteworthy Facts: N/A
Patron Goddess: Farore or Din, he's not sure.

I may be using Selena in this, if it's all right just to cut spoilers from her CS, Kaine. ^_^ Of course, her appearance would be slightly altered from CLC's timeline as it's 29 years afterwards; but I have an idea to keep her age canonically correct as well.
I'll also see about finishing Alister so I can use Lady Cale, as they come as a pair.

Apologies for double posting, but here Selena is; Though altered somewhat. The bolded section of the bio was added on for this RP, and isn't CLC canonically correct:
Selena Raho
Name:[/i] Selena Raho
Age: [/i] 15-16
Gender:[/i] Female
Race: [/i] Hylian
Homeland:[/i] Hyrule / Labrynna
Class/Job (optional):[/i] Warrior / Cleric / Mystic
Appearance: [/i] Selena stands roughly 5’1, weighing around 100 pounds. Her petite and slender form is lightly tanned, though just enough to tell. While her body is also toned from constant travel, one couldn’t tell it from a single passing glance. Selena’s pale blonde (comparable to electrum) tresses fall to her hips in a single smooth wave, parted in the middle. Her hair is almost white its such a pale shade, and is fairly shiny despite that she does little more than comb it. When she’s required to dress formally, then she’ll tie it back with either a silver circlet or a cobalt blue ribbon into a half ponytail. Selena’s eyes are a soft cobalt blue, resembling something mere shades lighter than sapphires. Her brows are relatively thin, feminine, and they arch slightly. - Attire: She generally adorns a plain pale blue shirt, longsleeved (that or a somewhat overlarge blue tunic). With that, white trousers and knee high brown boots. While all of this is rather plain, one ornament does stick out against the ensemble. A bracelet encircles her right hand, small aquamarine-like crystalline beads around the silver “thread”. Though she does not tend to wear the former very often, she almost always adorns a golden pendant that bears Nayru’s Symbol after receiving it.
Weapons/Armor/Magic: [/i] - Weapons: Her main weapon consists of a plain steel rapier, once belonging to her father. Its hilt is without ornamentation or a leather grip that would need to be replaced, but the blade is well cared for and polished.
- Armor: For the most part, Selena tends to go without armor unless the situation truly calls for it. When she does acquire some, its usually plain alloy gauntlets and/or a breastplate with shoulder guards.
- Magic: Seeing as magic is Selena’s largest area of defense and offense, this is also where she is the most seasoned. Shields are her strongest suit, oftentimes used to protect her companions and herself. In offensives, she tends to use simple spheres or what her companions began calling a “Tidal wave” form of attack. Obviously, considering her patron Goddess, most of Selena’s magic is a sapphire blue in color. With her healing-focused magic, however, it is more or less a soft silver-blue.
Her magical prowess, however, is vastly improving with practice as she works at it. A mentor she temporarily trained with expects nothing less than formidable magic from her with time.
Hobbies/Occupations:[/i] As a bard, Selena tends to sing quite a bit. With this, she also plays a lyre (a small harp).
Skills/Abilities: [/i] - Skills: With a fair bit of practice and time poured into it while she was growing and traveling, Selena developed a good amount of skill in musical arts by the time she was barely fifteen. But, despite that, she is still too shy to show the fruits of her efforts to most people. Other than that, she is also fairly skilled in usual medical treatments, as it is her goal to eventually become a healer. Her other talent is her ease of picking up languages, having spent much time in her youth studying Ancient Hylian in a rather expensive-looking but very worn out tome that her parents had passed down to them even. She can read the olden tongue quickly, but translating still takes a bit of time.
- Abilities: Aside from magical poweress, Selena is also empathic. Without focusing, she can sense nearby emotions and essences (the core of one’s being, what shapes who they are). When focusing, she can sense people further away and inspect their essences. She is also capable of using already existing bodies of water around her for varying things, depending on what she is aiming for.
Personality: [/i] Selena is of a gentle disposition for the most part, and easily considers people friends. She’s shy and easily embarrassed even around people she has known for some time, though it lessens a bit. Reluctant to harm anyone, or in any way. Some would consider her weak for her usually passive mindset, even taking her empathic powers into account. Selena would avoid actually killing someone at all costs, though is not always able to evade the situation. But, despite that, Selena finds herself caring for people she’s just met.
She has a stubborn streak in her as well, and once she decides on something, it takes quite a bit to make her budge. Coupled with that is a protective feel, one that drives her to guard the her companions whenever the need arises. Although level tempered, it is still possible to irk her. When thoroughly angered or upset, her empathic powers tend to actually boost her own. Selena also loves to dance, and has learned quite a few kinds of it from often playing the music to dance to.
However, she knows more than she likes to show. This usually causes people to underestimate her, but leads to bemusement when it turns out something was ‘irrelevant’.
Bio/History:[/i] For as long as Selena could remember, she was constantly traveling with her mother and father. They moved from town to town, region to region. Even going as far as to traverse through different countries, their search was thorough. When she first asked, they told her they were searching for a person dubbed “Nayru’s Guardian”.
Because of constantly traveling, Selena remains confused as to whether she comes from Hyrule or Labrynna even at sixteen. But, following in her parents footsteps, she too searches for the Guardian. Her mother said that their goal was to both return a sacred Harp to the Guardian, and to awaken Nayru’s second bearer as there would be a time of need according to an olden prophecy. According to the said tome, there would be another time of need beyond what the Holders could handle. The Guardians themselves served several purposes, as well as filling the center of the Triforce.
Traveling as bards, they used their voices to earn their keep at varying places while on the search. While Selena spent much of her time training her voice and learning the ancient tongue, she was often too shy to perform in front of more than three people. Thusly, she also spent time learning healing arts and applying her affinity towards healing magic to people in villages and larger towns. This also allowed her to use her empathic ability to search for a powerful essence, though she made a point not to mention it unless someone had already found out.
Six months from her turning of age to sixteen, the trio of bards fell ill to a strange fever that swept through the area they were traveling through. Unlike usual ones, it had odd sideaffects and pains accompanying it. While Selena didn’t contract one as badly as her parents, it was still enough to physically weaken her for several weeks. Yet, when she continued, it was alone.
It was then her turn to shoulder the task of finding the Guardian, as it had gone on for generations. Guilt of not being able to help her parents make it through the illness follows at the back of her mind, creating a hidden fear of treating people with unnamed illnesses or fevers. Afraid that she’ll fail again, and create another loss of life. But, no matter the circumstance, Selena still had to find the Guardian.
That task was what soon brought her towards Hyrule, after finishing the thorough search of several surrounding regions.
However, two full moonspans after joining the company of a Knight and the Triforce Wielders, a foe's teleportation spell went vastly wrong. Vague memories of a blazing flame flicker in her mind, one of odd violet color. Someone's cry of agony branded into her memory, as well as a harsh onslaught of pain. When Selena came to, however, she recalled naught - Nothing personal at all aside from her name and her task.
Her companions, and even acquaintances of the past, seemingly erased from her mind. Every personal memory. Leaving only vague dreams to torment her, to rise mountains of questions. Some she dreams she remembers more vividly than others, flashes sometimes bombarding her with the right prompting. Always leaving the budding mage frustrated and weary.
Likes:[/i] Kent (& company), musical and imagery arts such as instrumentals/voice and drawings, animals in general (though horses and Keatons are her favorites), and most areas of nature; although water-filled areas are her preference.
Dislikes: [/i] Anything spicy, such as peppers or Red Potions. She also dislikes heat, or in extreme cases, the desert (because of its blistering heat to frigid cold climate).
Weaknesses/Strengths: [/i] - Weaknesses: One of her strengths, empathy, works as a dual sided sword. While it has its perks, being around many people with emotions running amok hurts Selena’s very essence and mind. The stronger the emotions, the easier it is to give her a headache or worse. One of her “physical” weaknesses, per say, is a mineral called Lodestone. Embodying essences itself, it easily clashes with her own and when cut or harmed by it, that wound is not easily healed. Dark Energy goes along the same lines, more or less.
- Strengths: Healing and defensive magic is definitely among Selena’s better developed skills, having had a knack for them since she was first able to use them. She also uses her very personality to her advantage at times, managing to convince some to stand down and “stop” them from attacking. Also using her small size to her advantage, it allows Selena to maneuver battles easier than one of larger stature. Able to learn and speak languages quickly, Selena uses her talent for learning Ancient Hylian throughout most of her youth and retains it quite well. Translating is still slow, but that is more or less when writing it out.

I like the characters, you two! You're in. ;D
I apologize, I did intend to have made the first official post in the RP now, but my life was suddenly overtaken by the first 3 hours of The Wind Waker. >_<
I also have an appointment to be at in about an hour, so I can't post until sometime around 5 pm my time, but I promise to have the first post up as soon as I can after I'm home.

I apologize for the double post, but I need to make a note about NPCs.
When using an NPC in a conversation, try to keep their personalities as close to what they were in Twilight Princess. For certain NPCs, such as Ralis, Skullkid, and the Goron Elders, it might be a little more challenging, but you should be okay. If I see something that looks totally out of place, I'll let you know and you can edit it yourself.
I would request, however, that any posting involving dialogue of either the Demon King or Lieutenant-General Ghavriaxz be left to myself, as I'm still deciding what sort of personalities they'll have. Later on, once those things get established, Ghavriaxz for sure can be written by others. I might decide to be greedy and keep control over the Demon King though.
I'll keep you all informed of any changes that happen. First post is now up! ;D
