Pokemon Capture Request Thread

Starting now, capture requests may be posted here. All you need to include is:

1. The name of pokemon
2. Link to profile
3. Link to the RP (if any)
4. Where you plan on capturing (specific city and environment)
5. How will you catch it? (Keep it brief)
6. Link to Progress Tracking post (to check levels)
7. Other (this is where you would request special moves not learned at a particular level. Additional info may be put here as well)

If you prefer privacy, you may still PM the mods.


Please Note: The term "Capture" is used generically for any way to acquisition a pokemon that is new to your team. So the rules for a capture also apply to trades, gifts, thefts, and self-capturing pokemon.

Yes, it is mandatory to use this. We cannot have people running around will fully evolved pokemon (Unless its like a Butterfree or Beedrill) in the first RP that they captured with no effort.

All right, not bad at all for a first official request. It's pretty good and passing, but feel free to use more detail (such as how you'll battle it to weaken or make it faint, etc). It gives us a better idea of whether or not to approve requests, when they're questionable.

This one is in the clear, however.

4. When visiting Professor Elm in New Bark town, he's gonna show Rowen, Stephen and Zorayda a pokemon that's just been purified, and now needs a trainer. Stephen volunteers Rowen, thinking his younger sister having a ghost type might help her with her fear of the dark. Rowen agrees, but Misdreavus doesn't. Running out of the lab, Rowen chase's after it.

5. Rowen will use Gold to hit it a few times with ember, Misdreavus dodging the fire types moves till one finally hits and then Rowen will use a great ball on the epokemon.

Approved @ Lvl. 8

Any moves learned at Lvl 8 can be used without permission, so no need to request for growl. Also, you can have more than 4 moves.

Will-o-wisp can be used @ lvl 16
hex can be used @ Lvl 23
Curse can be used now.

On a side note: the rules state that you can't start go to a new RP until your previous one is graded. Since Moonlight is busy, we'll let it slide. Do keep that in mind in the future however.
