I'm much more than petty glass,
My sheen coveted and desired.
Much more than the soft brass,
But I am also fired.
Many look upon me in awe,
Despite my potential threat.
Causing their pocket books much withdraw,
And when they buy me in number, I bring them close to debt.
Glittering in many shades,
Shimmering in light.
Far more expensive than jade,
As bright as a star in the night.
