So...

I would have been on this weekend, but something very major happened. My dad had mild chest pain on Friday, so my mom and I, being a nurse and a student nurse, insisted that he go to the ER. Turns out that he was having a major heart attack--a 'silent' heart attack. He immediately went into the cardiac catheterization lab to get checked out, and after seeing that most of his blood vessels were blocked, the doctor opted to manually take out each piece of each clot out of my dad's heart vessels, taking about 4.5 hours.

My dad's fine now, but we're all very stressed out and I'm very freaked out right now. It's been tough for me becaluse I have a little sister, and I need to show her that everything's okay and that I'm NOT freaking out. I've been trying to make jokes of everything and be cool about it, and insist that there wasn't anything to worry about and that our dad's fine now, but inside I'm freaking out. A lot. I've been having a lot of friends over the past couple of days because I have needed the company and the distraction.

So...I'll be on (probably a bit less) but if I seem distracted, you know why.
