ShadoCon 2010

So me and sis went to this tiny little con here in Florida, called 'ShadoCon'.

OMG it was fun. So much anime! So much cosplaying! I bought myself a hat that was the color and shape of Charizard's head, with the eyes and horns and everything. It's so cute, I think I'll wear it every day like a crazy otaku. X3

Also, I had epic Pokemon battles using my DS and Pokemon Battle Revolution against a whole bunch of other people. It was the best thing ever, seeing my team in 3 dimensions onscreen, with an announcer and a crowd of people cheering me on from behind. My Eeve the Umbreon got a lot of cheers due to her awesome stats and stat-changing moves. Confuse ray, attract, Toxic, and Dark Pulse--I've never felt so much more cool about my beloved Pokemon in my life XD

I lost spectucularly, though--the guy I fought against had a hacked Garchomp. However, he didn't manage to one-hit KO me at least. Eeve held on for a while, and I was like, 'Yeah, that's what happens when you put love and time into your REAL unhacked Pokemon!' XD I was so proud of myself.

OMG this has made me so much more excited about Pokemon again. LOVE LOVE LOVE OMG

Hehe, congratulations, Kelly~! That sounds absolutely fantastic as whole, but I'm really glad you enjoyed yourself. *Smiles, then laughs.* Yeah, your charizard hat does sound adorable. I'm not a hat person (it cuts off my peripheral vision), and even I like how it sounds. I wish I had a Wii so I could play with you, though. Best I've got for Wifi is my DS. But we could do that, too.

And did you take any pictures? I'd love to see 'em! ^_^

Hehe, yeah, there are pictures. And heck yes I'd like to battle! I don't have my DS on me at the moment though, so I'll have to post my friend code later.

Hehe, that's perfectly all right, Kelly. I don't really have a battle-ready team at the moment, anyway. *Huggles.*

I think you can set it up so all Pokemon are at a certain level. *shrug*

You can, yes, but I meant moveset-ready. But it wouldn't hurt to try. ^_^

Ah, yes. I've got a couple of really great Pokemon with good movesets, but most are pretty average.

Well, my Platinum team is actually all right. It could use a little work still, but for the most part it is battle ready. Hmm ...

Ha, or we could have a level 1 baby Pokemon battle. *adorableness abound*
