I'm definitely getting both versions when they come out in Australia...this generation actually looks like it could be interesting. The new Pokemon selection is interesting...some are good, some are bad, and some are just plain weird, but this is Pokemon we're talking about here All-in-all, I'm very interested in seeing how the 5th gen plays out...just a few more days of waiting...

I plan on waiting until the obligatory (and superior) third version comes out.
Sorry Nintendo, but I'm no longer your fool!

I wonder if they will name it Gray, or some other synonym for it? *Sweatdrop.* But, yes, we know that the third version is coming out. Its happened every generation.

Hehe, why does that give me a chibi image of you so thrilled about that?
And I'd choose Snivy or Oshawott. ^_^

I'd go with Snivy. Though it's still just a snake with 'junk' added on, I like it better than the other two *rolls eyes*

Okay, got both versions the day they came out here, and I've finally played through White... ...and I'm blown away! Okay, so the Pokemon were hit and miss, just like every other generation (seriously, Nintendo, ANOTHER Fire/Fighting evolved starter???)...but the core plot of the games, and the music blew me away completely. I could lost in Unova for hours if I wanted. One thing that really freaked me out is the male player character (named Hilbert...), more specifically his startling resemblance to me. Hopefully I can get a comparison picture up here soon to show you what I mean...but first I need a cap So yeah, I definitely like this generation...can't wait to bring some of my better Pokemon over from my SoulSilver file. Hopefully I can make some huge progress towards completing the National Pokedex...I've never even come close to completing them before (unless you count the one time I managed about 120 captured Pokemon in my old Yellow file...but that was a decade ago at least)

I personally can't wait to get Pokemon Black. And judging from what you said, I'll love it. *Grins.*
Gen IV (Part I: D/P/PL) personally fell kind of flat for me, but it looks like they're coming back strong aside from the funky pokemon. And is there a new eeveelution? ^_^

Sorry, Moon, no Eeveelutions *huggles*
The Unova PokeDex is completely seperate from all the others...no Gen V Pokemon have any evolutionary relation to any Pokemon from the previous 4 generations.
