Any thoughts, now that it's out in Japan?
So far, I really don't like almost any of the new PKMN. Seriously, they all look like robot dinosaurs. :/

Well, I like a few of them. Some are serious Nightmare Fuel. Others look plain weird and/or creepy. I do like the idea of having a mature plot and characters, though. Its something that needed to be done a long time ago.
But I think that, so far, my favorite Gen V pokemon is the grass starter. A leafy anaconda~.

Eh, the starters are...blah. Nothing special, just animals with a bunch of details and junk on them. I prefer simple designs that are memorable. Like Charmander, or like Pikachu. Clean, simple, and easy to remember. I didn't even like many of the Pt/Pearl/Diamond Pokemon, because they all have too many details and too little creativity.
Stuff like Tangela, a viney thing with eyeballs, or Lugia, a simple white dragon-bird thing. And less dragons! There are too many dragon or dinosaur-based Pokemon.

The legendary for Gen 5 looks intriguing The black one, I think, I don't quite remember his name, but I do like how it looks

The black one's called "Zekrom" in the Japanese version, and he DOES look cool. My only problem is that they're creating too many bipedal 'dragon-like' Pokemon.
I DO like Zorua and Zoroark, the dark foxy things. They're pretty cool.

Now those are cool. Not to mention they have traditional kitsune abilities - Illusion and the like.

*nods* Yeah. Zoroark looks like some kind of demon were-fox or something. I like it a lot, despite getting tired of bipedal 'humanesque' pokemon.

Mmmhmm. They returned to their roots of mythology for inspiration of their pokemon, it looks like.

They should work on Japanese mythology. I'd love to see a dragon/normal type Kirin.
Also, new Eeveelutions plz! XD Flying and fighting type, maybe.
