Warning! This is a little bit racy, but not so much that it could be mature. Basically a teen or "PG-13" rating. Lots of passionate kissing here This is a little blurb from a fic I plan on writing. Bascially it boils down to modern-day romance in a fantasy world. ^.^He turned to face her again, and though the tiniest frown adorned the little spot between his brows, though she could feel the waves of scorn emanating from him, the beauty of him forced the fight from her all over again. It was that elvish charm... the natural physical perfection of his race. The curved lips, delicate pointed ears, his thin but masculine face, his slanted and deep veridian eyes...
"Valari, I..." she stammered, annoyed mood quickly dissipating. The brown-haired elf had that effect on her constantly. He huffed a sigh and shifted the headphones around his neck, untucking his shaggy hair from them before closing his eyes in resignation. His breath made a soft cloud of vapor in front of his face in the cool air.
"I know, Kat." Valari said softly in his tenor voice, tucking his long-fingered hands into his trench coat pockets. His breathing warmed the front of his scarf for a few moments as they stood in silence, Kat's fingers nervously twisting her auburn curls. Her hazel eyes were averted as she bit her lip, the tension building and making her feel miserable.
"Maybe I should g--"
Then Valari was there, shocking her into silence by grabbing her wrist and moving forward to force her against the wall behind her. She was suddenly very aware of his tall, intimidating body pressed very closely to hers through their coats and layers of clothing.
"Don't go," he whispered, his lips very close to her ear. Kat blushed, breaths coming in soft, quick pants at the delicious feeling of his warm breath tickling her. With him this close, his scent of mistletoe and sea salt made her feel dizzy.
"B-but..." she managed to stammer. But then he
breathed on her--a pure aphrodisiac, sweet like cinnamon... her eyelids suddenly felt very heavy, and her wind-chapped lips parted just a little, the cherry Chapstick only coloring them slightly.
Valari glanced down at her mouth as if just noticing how close they were, but he didn't move away. In fact, he inched closer to her, holding his breath, hesitating... would she push him away? Would Kat accept him, his heritage? The answer was apparent when she sighed his name quietly, color dusting her face... he took a breath and dove in.
He released her wrist to cup her jaw softly, touching her as if she'd break, and softly pressed his lips to hers for a brief few seconds before breaking away. Kat opened her eyes halfway to look up at him, and he could see the little light that danced there, silently asking for more.
Valari obliged her silent plea, pressing his mouth more insistently upon hers, this time moving, twisting his long fingers into her fiery hair. Kat whimpered softly, her hands tucked into the space between his chest and hers, but parted her lips and leaned into his body. The elf took this permission eagerly, a sharp breath entering through his nose. He didn't let up, instead flicking his tongue out to slowly explore her lips, her sharp little teeth, her tongue, the roof of her mouth... it was all like searing-hot velvet, sweet like candy and intoxicating like a drug.
A delicious mist crept into Kat's mind as her lips moved with his, and she occasionally nipped at his tongue and lips, sometimes taking his lower lip into her mouth and gently pulling it into her own... her hands wove up and around his neck, her chest pressing forward, her body curving in a perfect reverse to his, molding her shape to Valari's... his other hand found the belt loop of her jeans and pulled her hips flush to him, illiciting a low moan from somewhere deep within her throat.
Kat had never felt anything like this. With the few human males she'd ever kissed, it was always nice... but awkward, mundane, or just plain boring. This... this was passion, fireworks, everything she'd ever wanted. But the law...
Valari noticed when she stiffened and stopped kissing him, and he very reluctantly pulled away. Their breaths came quickly, fogging up the cold air. Was it just him, or did the temperature suddenly seem a little warmer...? But he caught the scent of her salty tears, felt her trembling in his arms... Valari let go, his shaggy brown hair falling into his green eyes as he looked at the fiery redhead with concern.
"I..." Kat squeaked, her hands gathered in front of her again. "I have to go..." The elf immediately released her, shocked and hurt. Was it really so important to her to not be seen with him?
"Kat..." he called quietly, longing coloring his voice. She hesitated in her steps, but did not turn around. His heightened sense of hearing caught the little choked sob that came from her chest, but she kept walking and did not answer, leaving Valari alone under the street lamps.
