Didn't they go from like 4-13? per game. There was just too many in Platinum. 0-o Darkrai and Giratina. I never got his origin forme (yes it is spelled like that)

I certainly agree with the rest of you - On pretty much all that was posted while I was gone. Zapdos was and still is amazing (not to mention he helped get me through the E4 and Champion as well), and Lapras is one of my favorites as well. Mew is definitely my top favorite in legendaries, though. I traded the one I got from the glitch in R/B/Y to my Crystal after naming it Sparkles (it was named after one in a very well written fannovel, XD). It was one of the fastest pokemon to ever get to a Level 60 in my Johto-games. ^_^
And, yes. Hoenn's number of legionaries would've been good to stay at, if they had variated between that and the first and second generations. Now they're going too far with it, and they're more like sub-legends.

My other favorite first generation pokemon is Missingno, LOL.
Another pokemon that I have always liked is Snorlax, although I prefer Munchlax much more.

Eeveeeeeee it's adorable and super adaptable. You can have most your team be Eeveelutions and they'd all be different types.

My two favorite pokemon from the first one would have to be Arcanine and Rhydon. Arcanine is just awesome,so majestic and regal. And Rhydon is really tough. Eventhough he is really slow,he makes up for it with everything else. Another one that I really like is Sandslash,he's always been the most reliable in my team.

I love arcanine! Hehe, it truly is majestic and regal. Not to mention I love pretty much all of the canine pokemon that they come up with.

Haha, yeah. I always pouted cause you can get Growlithe only later in the game, but I still used to wait it out and have him on despite it all. I haven't played the newest versions very much so I don't know the newest Pokemons... :/ But yeah,I have grown to like Ground and Fire Pokemon the most.

I love most fire types, really. And sandshrew has always been a favorite of mine when it comes to ground types, even if it does have to level up quite a bit to be useful when they first become available. (And I like their blue eyes in the 3D games. Its very endearing.)
