As the thread title asks, what is your favorite pokemon of the first 151?
And why?
My favorite first generation pokemon is Scyther because it is soooo awesome, and it has always managed to serve me well during battles.

Mine is, without doubt, dragonite. He's been my favorite since I first got him, and that was years ago. Dragon types, specifically dragonite, are extremely flexible in terms of moves they can learn, so it really helps the 'trainer' partnered with it. Not to mention it just has an awesome design. ^_^

I liked her second form too much to evolve her into a dragonite, though. D: My No. 1 favorite would prolly be Lapras. They're awesome. <3

Yeah, I love Dragonite and Lapras a lot, too.
They are definitely up there on my list of favorites for first generation.
I'd have to say that Arcanine is another one of my favorites.
EDIT: Another one I like is Mew. Name a Mew Optimus Prime. Teach it Transform and Rollout. Epic lulz ensue.

Well, I must say that another reason I love Scyther is because they evolve into another one of my favorite pokemon. Scizor.

I'd have to say my favorite Gen I would have to be........Zapdos. It was my favorite in Yellow and got me through the elite four + Champion. Yes he was level like 87 and Pikachu came in close at 85. They were my mains besides Charizard and Articuno. The other two switched between magmar and moltres as well as lapras and Nidoking.

Oh, Zapdos is still a force to be reckoned with!
He is so amazing that even after all of these years he is still one of the better pokemon.

Yeah, it sure would!
It would be great to see them actually re-using legendary pokemon other than just adding new ones to the list.
