Name: Chronoseum
Location: The Chronoseum is not in a physical location, but is constantly traveling through time and space. You see, the Chronoseum is not a simple building but a giant time machine.
Appearance: The Chronoseum is heavily modeled after the Roman Coliseum. The outer wall consists of pillars and oval windows carved from the stone. In many of the windows, statues of particular warriors are placed to watch battles for all eternity. The wall forms a circle around the arena. Rows of wooden benches form the inner layer, able to seat thousands of spectators. The center is a sandy battlefield the size of a football field to serve combatants of all sizes and number. This area is bordered by a two story wall, on top of which are the front row seats
Near the lower levels of seating, the throne for the ringmaster of the Chronoseum provides one of the better views of the fights. Finally, the sky above showcases the purple vortex the arena travels through as it ventures through time.
History: The Chronoseum was built by a being known as the Chrono Mage. Using his enchanted stopwatch, he created rifts in time to bring warriors from different eras and universes into his arena. He is obsessed with the bloodsport of battles, encouraging duels to the death. He even brought along his own audience: a race of bird-like humanoids known as the Warvens. They crave bloody finishes as much as the Chrono Mage, often crowing and cackling for whoever makes a serious blow. With the way the arena travels through time, it’s not likely that Chrono Mage’s activities will ever end.
Obstacles: On the sides of the battlefield are four gates. These gates access portals to other universes. When open, the gates can unleash all sorts of creatures, such as tigers, dinosaurs, or even extraterrestrial monstrosities. Essentially, whatever the Chrono Mage wills to appear will appear.
Status: Open
Other: None yet
