Name: Suna Kin [Japanese for "Golden Sands"]
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Class: Thief
Appearance: Suna has unruly sandy blond hair (hence his name) that he pulls back into a ponytail. His hair is mid-back length, tied a bit below the nape of the neck with a dark brown band. In the front, his hair is hard to tame, but is mostly angled towards the left side of his face, covering parts of his left eyebrow and top of his eye.
His eyes are deep green, dark on the outside and lighter towards his pupil. His skin is quite tanned without actually being too brown seeing as he's grown up in the desert. He's around 6 feet and lean. He's quite strong but his muscles aren't very apparent.
- Attire:
It consists of a pale blue long-sleeved silk tunic with a U neck extending down to mid-thigh, breathable and light to protect him from the desert sun. Over that, he wears a sleeveless trench coat-like vestment that consists of two strips of black cloth extending down to his ankles with no means of attachment over his chest. He also has a pouch slung around his hips, connected by a leather strap over the left shoulder. These are all secured by a red cloth that circles his waist tightly like a belt.
Underneath, he wears fitted black pants tucked into light brown, soft, flexible leather boots. He has his family's keepsake dagger stuck in his belt and brown pilfering gloves on his hands. His unruly hair is protected from the burning sun by a pale red, almost dark pink turban, basically a long piece of cloth wrapped around his head and neck, two ends dangling in the back next to his ponytail.
Personality: Quite sarcastic and always sporting a smile. His sense of humour is very crude and he shamelessly makes jokes on anything he can find. He's very courageous, but not as much as he is impulsive. He jumps into frays quite often to defend those he cares about, but is very sneaky when practicing his every day job.
History: Suna was born in a town in the desert. Said town was governed by a King and Queen who did nothing but spoil themselves using the town's taxes and most importantly, sources of water. The citizens were often found dead of dehydration while the royalty of the town bathed themselves in huge private baths.
Suna's family was not too bad off with money and water when one day, soldiers knocked on their door to arrest Suna's father for not paying taxes. The family rebelled but was soon subdued and killed, the house set on fire. Except Suna, who was mistakenly left for dead, but was rescued by some thieves who came to pillage the house before it burned, seeing as its inhabitants were now gone.
Suna grew up with the thieves, whom he learned were a band of outlaws who stole from rich merchants and sometimes from within the castle itself to then distribute the spoils to families in need. He's been at their service ever since he was 8.
Weapons: Twin claws. They're both composed of four blades aligned with the position of the fingers. The arm guard is pale blue and isn't just flat. It has increasingly steep protrusions that remind of dragon scales. The right one was affectionately dubbed "Kega" [Japanese for "Hurt"] since it's Suna's offensive claw, whilst the left one is called "Naru" [Japanese for "Heal"] since it's mostly used to defend, parry, and reflect.
He never uses the knife on his belt in any circumstance. It's reserved for life-threatening situations only.
Armor: None
Magic: None
Skills/Techniques: When fighting, he is nimble enough to pickpocket a foe when he gets close enough and launches an attack. His main strength isn't sheer power, but agility and discretion. He uses his opportunities to claw at opponents, then quickly retreat and start running again.
Weaknesses: Heavy, massive people, whom he can't take down easily because of his lack of sheer power. Rain, for it makes him soggy and slows him down (although it's very rare to have rain where he comes from). People in need of help can distract him from any one of his goals as he'll rush to help no matter the situation. Magic users or projectile-users as he is incapable of long-range attacks.
Strengths: Very swift and agile, deft with his fingers, astoundingly well developped dexterity, mastery of his claws, can easily move on sandy terrain, knows healing secrets, can scale walls that are all but smooth, can tell lies like second nature.
