Have you ever had those battles with trainers who use nothing but legendaries? It's annoying, isn't it? Everyone who actually plays the game knows that legendaries and 'cool' Pokemon aren't always all they're cracked up to be. For example:
Charizard. Not only is it EVERYWHERE in the anime, it's always easily taken down. Its attacks are pretty strong, but it's really not all it's cracked up to be.
Lucario. Ugh. It's all over the place! And one hit with a fire-type move and POOF, it's down.
Gyarados. Yeah, it looks pretty awesome, and its attack is decent. But a tiny little zap sends it flying.
The three legendary birds. I've played these guys a lot, and they don't hit very hard, and their defense is just awful. If I had to choose one, I'd go with Articuno, but other than that, they're just... eh.
There are several others, but I thought I'd point these out. Any Pokemon you're tired of seeing?
