Why dartboard? Because as with the original rp ideas I posted over in the originals, I'm just proposing and seeing who's interested.
- Who else likes Resident Evil?
- Star Fox?
- Zelda?
- Mario?
- The idea of pokemorphs interested me and I'm not even a furry. However, I'm tired of them always being a result of the big bad [/i]scientists and big bad corporations. If anyone else likes pokemorphs and can think of an alternative I'm all ears. ^_^

Can't think of anything else off handily. I'll toss more onto the dartboard later. But again, I'll wait a bit to see if there are any takers.

Resident Evil: I tried to play Resident Evil 4. It really didn't work out for me  - Star Fox: Hell yeah! I always thought that would make a good RP subject. I'd consider it if the plot were good - Zelda: Much as I like the fantasy element, there are two Zelda RPs already on the board. That, and I should probably be getting my fantasy fix from my FE RP...if I get around to playing with it . - Mario: Has potential, but I'm unsure about it. -Pokemorphs: The other RP forums I visit are oversaturated with pokemorphs, or "Gjinkas" as they call them. Most of them aren't great, which is why I tend to have a bit of a distaste for the subject. It al depends on the plot. |

So I probably wouldn't be very good at that type of RP. SF - I could try it, but it would be my first step into that written fandom. ^^ Zelda - *Grins.* What timeline, place, or basic plot ideas? 2gamers you didn't like RE4?! Omg, I love that one. Oh well. Well reason I did the dartboard thing is to bounce ideas with those who are interested. What would you like to see in a Star Fox rpg? OCs? canon? Old enemies? New enemies? War? Peace? I know this board has upteenth Zelda rps. I have no specific ideas at the moment but again the whole dartboard thing. What does anyone interested want to see in a Zelda rp that hasn't been done before? Now the pokemorphs. Bill's DNA combining machine thing is certainly an option. Accidental pokemorphs makes me think of superheroes. Me and Moonlight did some chatting via IM and there she told me her idea. Very unique one I must say based on the tv show and Animorphs. Remember Ditto? Well in the tv show it can assume a form that allows it to pass as human. But you say, "Shadow-Kun, don't pokemon only say their name?" Well, you see, some people can also be mute and for whatever reason can't speak. One could assume our human disguised ditto can mingle among humans with that excuse in mind. And now things get... interesting. Our human ditto then has children with an unsuspecting human (imagine the morning after). Okay maybe not so unsuspecting but think of that conversation! "You are Ditto?!" "Ditto..." As Moon-hime said, "a ditto's line is even more unstable than an eevee's. Since they can change into any pokemon." So, the Ditto's DNA will not only manifest in its children, but it will do so unpredictably across generations. And then, let's say for example our ditto linage child has pikachu DNA. Well, not only would the pikachu DNA manifest when it is human (going with example of pikachu- red cheeks and ability to use some electric abilities), but also our pikachu person can change into a pikachu a la animorphs.

Yeah, survival horror doesn't seem to be my cup of tea. >_> Alright, I have a partial idea. The story would focus on a group of young rookies of the Cornerian Army. It's a relative time of peace, so there's no big war going on. These rookies are charged with exploring a newly discovered system of planets. They would find everything from deadly monsters to treacherous landscape to a growing empire that threatens to plunge the Lylat system into war once more... Yeah, that's all I've got. This way, no one has to be super familiar with the series, just the basic concept of anthropomorphic beings in space . |

Well, I'm not adverse to anything in particular for a Zelda RP. Just lay out your basic idea, and I'll help add to it.  *Chuckles.* Sad as it is, I can see it happening. Also making the hybrid-morphs plausible, and since there are so many disappeared parents in the Pokemon universe it still seems possible (rather than only a couple centuries ago in it). I do believe I'll have a typholsion and mightyena morph, though I may do something else. |

Well, my basic Zelda ideas are just that, basic.
1.) The political circumstances and rules have placed a boy king in charge of Hyrule. Zelda is there as well to advise her younger brother, but cannot be regarded as the ruler of the land.
2.) I want to try one without Link or Ganondorf. Main characters are OCs.
This is where I hit a big snag. Without Ganondorf, who's the baddie? what does he/she want? Why?
I was imagining this as sort of a Hybrid of past zeldas. Like the Rito can have a presence on Death Mountain with the Gorons. I can't think of other examples right now but this makes Hyrule more expansive and inclusive than the games have portrayed it all at once. The Gerudo are also not just missing either. Only race I can think of that can't feasibly appear are the Twili because of how difficult it would be to do so unless the story centered around a Twilight invasion. However, I'm trying to think outside the box like Majora's Mask. What can be done for a main plot that has never been done before?
