(I borrowed some of the 'form' idea from AC, I liked it so much )
Name: Jace Timbre
Age: 20 (three years have passed since he first became a trainer)
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Class: Pokemon trainer
Appearance: Jace is of average height, not too tall, but tall enough. He's got a sort of lanky build, with long limbs and big, graceful hands, but he's muscular as well—he looks sort of like a professional swimmer. He has shaggy black hair and gray-green eyes, and he lets his hair fall into his eyes on purpose for that purposefully sexy sort of look. He takes pride in his appearance due to his love of fashion, so his hair is always styled.
Jace has several different outfits he wears, but his main one is a pair of dark jeans, a crisp, collared, button-down Oxford shirt, and a pair of semi-dress shoes. As a trainer, he wears cargo shorts and polos with hiking boots, along with a nice watch and a pair of fancy sunglasses.
Personality: Jace is a very classy young man. Raised by his mother to hold doors for women and to be polite, he is a very likeable and well-mannered teenager. He was also raised by his father, the carpenter, to work hard for what he wants. Though his dad doesn’t really like that Jace wants to pursue something in fashion, he supports his son in whatever he wishes to do.
Jace doesn’t have a lot that is bad about him. He’s one of those milk-drinking, classy people that are amiable and all-around nice, which is rare in a boy his age. When he battles, he also has good sportsmanship.
BAD things about Jace—he’s naïve. He thinks that the world is kind and gentle and that he can do anything if he sets his mind to it, even though there is much in the world that is definitely NOT that way. He’s also sometimes a little TOO sensitive and nice—previous girlfriends have told him that he needs to be more ‘manly’, and the other boys his age have often accused him of being ‘gay’. He’s not a weakling, though—he’s physically tough, even if his demeanor and habits make him seem otherwise.
History: Born and raised in Ecruteak City. He wanted to be a trainer ever since he could talk and ever since he’d seen trainers on television and on the radio. He still dreams of becoming strong enough to capture one of the legendary dog Pokémon he’s been to the Burned Tower so many times to see. Though they aren’t always there, he frequents the Tower to look at them and admire them.
As a kid, his parents raised him very well. He learned proper right from wrong and he treats girls as a traditional gentleman would.
He waited to become a trainer because he didn’t want to go and choose a specific Pokémon for himself. He believed that a true trainer should let his first Pokémon come to him and choose the trainer, not the other way around. That’s when he met Viola the vulpix, his first Pokémon. She was only a little pup, her tail still single and white, when he discovered her in his newspapers behind his house. She instantly climbed into his arms and started to lick his face—it was love at first sight. When she proceeded to snuffle his collar and try to climb down his shirt, he knew that she would be a handful.
Now that he has a team of six, his confidence has increased by a ton. He looks to catch more Pokémon, but keep his original six levelled. Jace gets more competitive as he goes along, seeking to get more experience for his Pokémon.
Pokemon Team:
-Viola (vulpix, female)
Roar, confuse ray, fire spin, imprison, safeguard, will-o’-wisp, payback, flamethrower, grudge, extrasensory
-Taro (luxray, male)
Charge, swagger, thunder fang, discharge, roar, bite, volt switch, thunder wave
-Shiva (dragonair, female)
Draco meteor, aqua tail, surf, thunder wave, agility, wrap, slam, hyper beam, dragon dance, outrage
-Rast (haunter, male)
Hypnosis, shadow ball, sludge bomb, payback, dream eater, mean look, sucker punch, curse, destiny bond, dark pulse
-Rowan (fearow, male)
Mirror move, aerial ace, pluck, agility, false swipe, peck, fly, drill peck, fury attack, roost, giga impact
-Gabriel (kirlia, male)
Psychic, magical leaf, calm mind, double team, lucky chant, heal pulse, future sight, charm, psyshock
Strengths:
-Viola Viola is very unique in the fact that she and Jace have sort of a strange ‘synergy’ going on. Jace leaves his mind open and she does too, to allow for quicker commands. Thoughts travel slightly faster than thoughts translated into words and they take advantage of this. Viola is highly fast and intelligent and will come up with crafty ways of defeating her enemies. Practice with Jace has made their battles even better, with her clever wit and Jace’s understanding of other Pokemon and human trainers making them nigh unstoppable together. She’s the Pokemon that usually wins the battle for Jace.
-Taro Taro can’t communicate telepathically, but his power comes from his boldness and relative strength. He won’t hesitate in battle and follows Jace’s instructions like a dedicated soldier. This cat is strong and agile, his physical attack being the best of any luxray Jace has ever encountered. He also has ‘volt switch’, which can land a blow and then switch out quickly.
-Shiva Shiva’s special attacks and speed are of the highest caliber. Her draco meteor attack is certainly very strong, but it’s her great speed that makes her formidable. She dances about the stage like a graceful ballerina at times. Her reptilian beauty is also something to behold—often making some of the male Pokemon hesitate to attack.
-Rast Rast’s special attack is extremely good. While his defense is low, he has special status-changing abilities that can cripple the opposing Pokemon before he attacks with his strong special moves. If all else fails, he uses his trusty ‘hypnosis-dream eater’ combo, which is usually fairly effective at defeating other Pokemon.
-Rowan Speed and the use of enemies’ abilities against them is this bird’s forte. Mirror move is Jace’s favorite move of Rowan’s, since the bird has gotten so good at it. Rowan’s attacks move quickly because of his ability to fly and move fast, thanks to natural agility—and the move, ‘agility’.
-Gabriel Gabriel’s best feature is his great defense/special defense. He can withstand a lot of damage before fainting, and will often outlast his opponent. His attacks are fairly decent, with psyshock being his signature move.
Weaknesses:
-Viola Viola’s attacks aren’t very strong, physical or special. Though she’s quick and has good status changing moves, her defense is average at best. If she’s hit with a solid ‘super effective’ blow, she’ll go down fairly fast.
-Taro Not very fast. Taro’s speed is lacking, giving the enemy the chance to hit first. He doesn’t dodge well, either, but has above average defense to take the hits.
-Shiva Shiva’s defense is awful. She dodges very well, but if she’s hit by something fast enough, she’ll take tons of damage. Her physical attack is okay at best.
-Rast Rast’s defense is almost as low as Shiva’s. His speed is okay, however, so Rast must try to take down his opponent with his quick, strong blows and status effects before the opponent can fight back too much.
-Rowan Rowan’s attacks aren’t very strong. Though his speed is great and the use of his moves are intelligent, he won’t be able to hit for much. His defense is a good bit above average, though.
-Gabriel Gabriel’s attacks are average, but his speed is dreadful. He’ll sit there and take blow after blow, but he will probably never land an attack before his opponent does.
Pokemon’s Unique Features:
Viola
-She has honey colored eyes instead of normal brown.
-She’s a tad larger than a normal vulpix because of her age. Trainers don’t normally keep their Pokemon unevolved at high levels, but Jace has let her choose whether or not she prefers to evolve.
Taro
-All-around, normal-looking luxray. The only distinguishing trait is his size, which is a little bit bigger and more muscular than the average luxray. This comes from lots of physical training.
Shiva
-Your average-looking dragonair, though Jace thinks she’s the most beautiful dragonair around--and he's not wrong. Many male Pokemon they encountered are attracted to her.
Rast
-Rast has red eyes. This gives him a scarier appearance, but he’s the kindest Pokemon one could meet.
Rowan
-Normal-looking. He’s always got a grumpy expression, though.
Gabriel
-Nothing to say about him, either. Average.
