Name: Solomon Edgar Tamina
Age: 21
Race: Human
Class: Ranger/Assassin
Gender: Male
Appearance: Tall and lean, more muscular in the shoulders and back than anywhere else. Solomon has a defined waist and defined runner's legs as well. His hair is a dirty blonde color and it's relatively shaggy--it falls to the middle of his shoulder blades, so he puts it back in a low ponytail. He has extra fringe that hangs on either side of his face. Solomon's eyes are a shocking blue, like water with sunlight filtering through it. His skin is tanned from years out in forest and hunting.
-Attire- See Armor.
Weapons/Armor/Magic:
-Weapons- A longbow, handmade by Solomon out of yew, and black-feathered arrows. He also carries two long, curved knives, like short swords, on his back, ready for him to reach back and draw them both. He dual wields them and is quite skilled with them.
-Armor- Minimal. He wears leather armor for mobility. His outfits include a chest piece, arm guards, fingerless gloves, light leather pants, and boots. This makes for a somewhat drab outfit, but it's highly functional for silent movement and mobility with his two swords.
-Magic- He doesn't have any known magical spells, but he seems to have an affinity for nature. The best he can do is make plants grow a bit faster, though...
Hobbies/Occupations: Solomon is a great hunter and prefers to live off of nature. He respects the environment and likes to go for months at a time in forests. Other hobbies include playing the lute and singing--he generally carries the instrument with him on long trips. Right now, he's been hired as Sauda's 'babysitter' for Marquee Seymour, with the occupation of assassin on the side...
Skills/Abilities:
-Skills- Coercion, coercion, coercion! Also, he's got wonderful aim with his bow. He can do other things nobles know how to do, as well--horseback riding, reading, writing, etc. He also knows basic formalities and can act his way into almost anywhere.
-Abilities- Due to his affinity for nature, Solomon can basically understand animals, tracks, and plants better than most. Animals generally are calm and friendly around him, though it's not always that way--a hungry bear would still eat him if it really wanted to.
Personality: Solomon is somewhat...dodgy. His mistrust of people's intentions often disallows him to create real relationships or connect with people. He also breaks a lot of laws, gambles, tells lies easily to people, steals--basically a rebel. Under all that crime and rebellion against nobility, however, he has a heart of gold. His basic instinct is to protect people, and Seymour's use of him as an assassin tears at his soul.
Solomon is a sarcastic, witty man, using humor to block any pain and to deflect uncomfortable questions about his past. This has made him all-around likeable by most people at the first meeting, but Solomon never really makes true friends.
He is basically clever and intelligent, silver-tongued and cunning like a fox. He can talk and coerce his way in or out of pretty much anything, learning to sway even the hardest of hearts to stay out of trouble and to get what he wants out of life. He often uses this suave side of him to bed women, the physical contact sating his loneliness for the moment. However, he always leaves her afterwards... feeling worthless even as she falls asleep.
Bio: Solomon is the illegitimate child of a noblewoman and a peasant. Unluckily for him and the woman, he looks just like his mother... however, the noblewoman's husband has disowned him, so Solomon was raised under a lot of nannies in the royal household. However, he was always treated with disdain and hatred--his mother was forbidden from seeing him, so she couldn't protect him, and his father disappeared, unwilling to be caught and killed or banished as punishment for the affair.
So Solomon took up archery, one of his favorite classes, and began to live out in the woods often. In the woods, nobody can judge you. In the woods, the fittest survive, but it's fair. It was his haven.
He really didn't have any childhood friends to speak of, since the parents always shunned him and told their children to stay away from him. The scandal of the noblewoman's affair was an unspoken, but well-known, fact among the higher-ups. Having really no true home, Seymour took advantage of Solomon's lonely uselessness, giving him a 'home' of sorts and using him as an unwilling assassin.
Likes: Women, archery, hunting, nature, singing, music, art, friendly people, open minded people
Dislikes: Nobles, Seymour, stupid people, clingy women, arrogant people
Basic Beliefs:
-People are inherently selfish. It isn't wise to trust anyone because of this--anything they do, they do because it will benefit themselves in the end.
-Nobility is only an illusion, something created by people to make themselves more dominant over others. Class, in his opinion, should not exist, but there's not really much he can do about it in his position.
Weaknesses/Strengths:
-Weaknesses- His mistrustfulness, his lack of true strength in battle, his underestimating pretty womens' ability to get close to him
-Strengths-Hi sense of humor that separates him from true pain, his skills with a bow, stealth, ability to detach himself from people easily when he needs to
Quotes: "Puh... you don't want to help me. You just want the satisfaction of knowing that I must depend upon you--to control my every move."
Family: No brothers or sisters to speak of, but many unknown cousins. His mother is a noblewoman, not of the highest rank, but a blueblood nonetheless. His father is an unknown peasant, but he's heard mutterings that his personality is much like his father's.
