Okay, this may be a little new to you guys, but I rather enjoy this… ‘fandom’, I guess you’d call it. Magical felines! Except in this case, I’ll allow any type of feline or canine, including tigers, lions, foxes, leopards, wolves, anything! There are some ground rules, however—covered in this OOC after the plot and character list.
Players:[/u]
-Zorayda
Characters:
-Zorayda (lioness)-Zorayda
-Rey (timber wolf)-Zorayda
-Aiko (lion)-Zorayda
Pride Members:
-Zorayda (lioness)
-Aiko (lion)
Pack Members:
-Rey (timber wolf)
Wanderers:
Plot:
A pride of magical cats has lived in the lands of Surra for generations, living off of the lush lands and surviving through the droughts in peace and harmony. They have flourished, having many cubs—many of which are products of mixed feline matchups.
However, tensions arise when a large pack of magical canines migrate nearby, looking for resources to survive in the current drought. Now food and water are scarce for both canine and feline, and the feline pride blames their new residents for it.
It is not certain who made the first attack, but both cat and canine are at odds with one another…
Map of Surra:
Rules:
-You may have three characters apiece, but please keep in mind that we need to keep the numbers between the pride and the pack fairly even.
-Wanderers are allowed, but I will only allow two of them at a time. They can interact however they wish with either the pride or the pack.
-The pride and pack are both unnamed, and I will allow suggestions for names from whomever wishes to RP in this story. We’ll decide on the names together.
-Any NPCs can be played by anyone. However, if someone abuses it, I’ll have to limit it, but I don’t think we’ll have any problems with that. Also, please put in a brief character description (basic appearance, species, and specific powers) before playing them. There is also a limit to WHEN NPCs are allowed:
-During large-scale fights
-When assigning ‘guard duty’ for keeping others out of the dens, etc.
-When a character must speak to a large group—i.e, the pride/pack leader making a speech
-Any other situation deemed acceptable at the time.
- There will be a single leader of each group. This will be decided on a volunteer/vote basis, and the character may be male or female, it doesn’t matter. Also, if that character becomes leader and has a mate, it does not mean that the mate has power over anyone else. He or she is just another member of the pride—however, the mate can use politics to his or her advantage (i.e., threaten to tell the leader if one of the pride/pack members makes him/her unhappy, etc.)
- Characters are allowed one basic magical power. However they decide to use it is up to them (just look at how many ways Flash uses his speed!). It doesn’t necessarily have to be an elemental power, but keep in mind that writing down strengths and weaknesses makes your character more believable.
- Characters must be feline or canine. Felines go in the pride, canines go in the pack. That’s how it works :3 However, the subspecies of felines or canines are unlimited—foxes, tigers, lions, leopards, wolves, hyenas, everything’s allowed.
-Have fun!
