Rules and OOC.Meagan rolled over to block the sun from shining in her face. She had just dozed off! It's too early for it to be morning, she thought, trying to snuggle into a pillow that wasn't there. She jumped to her feet and looked around her. No longer in her bedroom, but a forest where the trees towered over her head. The birds she saw in the trees weren't the birds she knew, but Pidgey and Spearow, minding their own business as they thrived in the lush forests. She slowly looked down at herself and bit her tongue to keep from screaming and freaking out. Okay...I'm a pokemon now. Why? I remember going to bed as a human, and telling my Mom goodnight... she thought, sitting on her haunches and frowning. To quote; Curiouser and Curiouser. She gazed around before noticing a Growlithe not far off from her, sleeping in the grass. She trotted over and prodded him with a paw. "Hey, you. Wake up, please. Can you tell me where I am?" she asked.

Quinn was having the most wonderful dream... he was running through the forest, his long legs scratched by saw grass, but he didn't care--the dew was cool on his bare feet and the sun shone in dappled splotches upon him. Then the dream changed, and suddenly he was running on all fours.
Odd, he thought, furrowing his brow. Then something was stalking him, chasing him, and the forest turned from green to black... he sprinted in a panic, but the thing caught up to him, its claws reaching out...
"Yipe!" He let out a squeal, leaping to his feet when something touched his back. For some reason, he was on all fours, but the thought was only fleeting as his eyes focused upon the figure in front of him--an eevee, as he so recognized from a poster he had up in his room of the original 151 Pokemon.
"Uh, am I dreaming?" He said dumbly, his eyes still droopy with sleepiness. But then he realized that he could feel the grass under his feet and hands. He also wondered why he was looking the eevee in the eyes... weren't they supposed to be small? He looked down at his hands--but there were no hands, only paws. Orange ones... He lifted one, then the other, realizing that the appendages belonged to him. With a howl, he staggered backwards, landing on his rear end.
"I'm--I'm a--" He couldn't finish the sentence, his pupils shrunken with fear. "What happened? This is impossible! This is--" He stopped midway when he realized something... hadn't he wished that he was a Pokemon? But... he never thought it would actually come true. He gulped, frightened out of his wits.
"Can... can you tell me what Pokemon I am?" He asked the eevee--maybe she had undergone the same fate as he and would be a kindred spirit.

The Eevee sighed. Well, at least he hadn't run screaming. "You're a Growlithe. I'm Meagan, by the way. Can you tell me what I am? I'm not exactly able to look in a mirror anymore," she sighed, her long, vulpine ears drooping heavily as she was obviously disapointed.
At least I'm not alone...

Quinn calmed down a bit when the eevee mentioned that her name was Meagan, an obviously human name. And he could understand her words.
"You're an eevee... but you look kinda pretty," he said, not really thinking about his words. "I bet I look silly," he sighed sadly. "At least we found each other," Quinn added. "My name's Quinn. I used to be a boy, but I made a wish that I was a Pokemon... I guess they picked a growlithe for me and an eevee for you. Wonder why?" he queried, tilting his head in an unconscious puppy-like fashion.

The small zorua shifted in her sleep, a dainty paw scraping at the earth as she awoke, nose twitching.
Why do I smell dirt? She thought irritably. She opened her eyes, now large in comparison to the rest of her head, her ears twitching. With a small sigh, she stretched, getting up on her four limbs...
"Wait..." Veronica looked down to see that her small, dainty hands had turned into small, dainty paws--black in color. With a panicked gasp, she looked around her, seeing only trees, dirt, rocks, and a small brook nearby. "Wh-where am I?!" She gasped, her panic highlighted by strange whimpering noises coming from her throat. She dashed over to the brook and looked into the water, desperate for answers.
She blinked and the small black fox blinked back with its jade eyes. A tuft of black and red hair came from her forehead, puffing up between her two pointed ears. Her small nose was covered in little whiskers, and she could see a puffy black mane and tail in the reflection.
"A--a Pokemon!?" She screeched, stumbling backwards. "No... it's impossible... I wasn't serious about that wish..." Veronica looked up at the stars incredulously. "I take it back! I want my beautiful body back! I want my room and my stuff! I wasn't serious!" She yelled desperately, but to no avail. The stars twinkled ironically back at her and she sneered.
"Fine. I'll figure it out myself." She sat on her haunches and began to fluff her fur--might as well keep this body beautiful while she had it. She wasn't sure when an unwitting Pokemon would fall for her normal antics and trickery, but staying groomed and pretty would certainly help.

"If I find out why, you'll be the first to know," Meagan said, shaking her head. Her ears perked up, catching the faintest tuft of a yell.
She looked towards it, ears high and alert, searching for any hint of the yell again. It was so random and odd, almost as if someone had gotten terrible news.
"Hey, Quinn, did you hear that yell?" she asked, frowning slightly.

Aaron lay on his belly asleep facing to his left as he snored. The cap he wore while he dozed off on the couch was still on his head despite the face we was now a pikachu snoozing in soft grass. His long ears pointed downward because of his cap, and his right hindpaw kicked because of the dream he was having. In the dream he was having, he was running faster and farther than he ever thought he could! It was a rather vivid dream.

As Tyson came to the waking world, he groaned, feeling rather light-headed...everything felt wrong to him, like his whole body had just changed overnight. Urgh...must have slept really badly again... he thought irritably, another groan escaping his throat as he tried not to think about the oncoming headache...
...only to snap his eyes open and jump to his feet as he heard not a groan, but a low growl escape his throat. The moment Tyson jumped up, he immediately collapsed straight back onto the ground again as his body responded much differently to the way he was used to. The first time he noticed he was not in his room...or even his house, for that matter, was when his snout first impacted the grassy ground. Wait...snout???
Still on the ground, Tyson froze as he came to the realisation that something was very, very wrong. Taking a moment to calm himself, before he had a panic attack, Tyson slowly pushed himself up onto his hands and knees, only to let out a scream that actually became a terrified yelp as he saw his hands...or rather, what were his hands. What he was looking at instead were a pair of blue-furred paws, with pale, seemingly metallic bumps on the back of them, at the wrists.
Now seriously struggling to hold back his panic, beginning to hyperventilate, he slowly and unsteadily got to his feet, staggering slightly before managing to find a small sense of balance. Taking a deep breath, Tyson slowly, almost fearfully looked down, giving off another terrified yelp when he saw what had become of his lower body. Below hips that were covered in the same blue for as his paws, he possessed black-furred feet, but feet which were clearly animalistic in nature, most likely canine.
Looking around wildly, Tyson was once again snapped out of a paniced daze when something slapped his cheek. Reaching up with a paw, he found that, on top of his very canine-like snout, he had a pair of small, pointy ears sticking up from his head, and where his human ears used to be, he instead had a pair of black appendages that, upon closer inspection, he found he could move around. Further inspection also revealed to him that he had a small blue tail, as well.
It was at this point that Tyson's panic reached an all new high, as he resumed looking around wildly, only just taking in the fact that he was currently in a forest, he looked for something to help confirm what had happened. Seeing a nearby stream, he headed that way, staggering on his two paws, still getting used to the movement of his new body. What's happening...is this real? he asked himself mentally, even as he knew no answer would be coming.
He did, however, get the answer to one question when he reached the stream, and looked down at his reflection, which made him release a howling scream as a small canine face, vaguely resembling a blue-furred jackal with a black 'mask' and large, red eyes, stared back at him through the rippling water. He quickly recognised the reflection...a Riolu!
"But...how?" he shakily spoke aloud, stumbling back and away from the reflection, not looking where he was going as he made his way back deeper into the forest. "This...it's impossible...this can't be real...I..." his panicked ramblings were cut short as, with a loud yelp of fright, he crashed into something behind him. He instantly jumped forward, trying to whirl around and face whatever he had run into, but he tripped over his own paws, still not used to his new body, and once more found himself snout-first on the dirt.
Clutching a paw to his now-aching snout as he scrambled to his hands and knees again, Tyson looked up...and found himself nearly snout-to-snout with a Zorua, the small fox taller than him his current state on all fours. "Ahhh..." he mumbled shakily, scrabbling away from the Zorua, not really sure what to do. he had somehow woken up as a Pokemon...and now had just met one...it was almost too much for him right now.

Quinn perked his ears up at Meagan's comment, confused.
"Huh?" He hadn't really been paying attention... He was still processing what had happened to the two of them. Since when did people randomly turn into Pokemon? It was very odd... He wagged his short, fluffy tail once out of gladness to have found the eevee. At least they wouldn't be alone.
"Do you wanna go check it out?" He asked. He placed himself in front of her bravely. "Well, follow me, I don't want you to get hurt," he said, and began cautiously walking where her nose had been pointing.
Twitching her new ears, Veronica swiveled to face in the direction of where she heard sounds--growling, whimpering, and then a splash. She stopped fluffing her fur and stood up on all fours--she heard a low, continuous rumbling noise and realized with surprise that it was coming from her own throat.
Before she could investigate the shadowy figure she saw moving ahead of her, it seemed to stumble, coming right towards her. Veronica let out a high-pitched squeal, not unlike the noise she would have made as a human, as the figure slammed right into her.
"Hey, watch where you're going!" She snapped, now looking face-to-face with the offender. Her left brow raised as she looked the other Pokemon in the eyes. It seemed... panicked somehow, terrified of something. The riolu scrambled away from her quickly, seeming unused to its own limbs.
"Hm. So you're human, too, then?" She asked knowingly.

Tyson's frightened backwards crawl came to a sudden halt when the Zorua spoke up, asking if he was human as well. For a few moments, he simply stared at her, coming down from his panic attack slowly as he processed what she...it was definitely a she by the voice...had said. Could it really be...that he was not the only one in this situation?
Slowly, the Riolu got to his feet, standing up on the balls of his back paws instinctively, finding he was about the same height as the Zorua, which didn't help his feeling of being intimidated one bit...the Zorua was on all fours, and he was still no taller than it standing up. But still, she had said he was human too, which could only mean...
"You mean...you're...like me, too?" he asked, more than a little hope in his voice that there was someone else like him...maybe they could help. "I...do you have any idea what's going on?" he asked, still a little hesitant. If this Zorua wasn't like him, then he was about to feel really, really stupid.
At the very least, Tyson was beginning to get used to his new body. He could stand up and walk without stumbling like an idiot anymore. He was still a little shocked and frightened, though...why had this happened? Why had been dragged away from his human form and world, and brought here, as a Riolu, of all things?

The bipedal canine finally stood up on its back legs, giving Veronica a wary look. She noted with some amusement that it was shorter than she, even though it had the advantage of walking on its back feet in a humanoid manner. Its wine-red gaze slowly travelled over her as if sizing her up and deciding whether or not she was a threat.
Well, maybe not physically, she smirked. Veronica had always been very clever, able to trick or con people into doing what she wanted. Perhaps she could convince this riolu to help her turn back into her human self... if it was a human.
She rolled her eyes at his questions.
"Of course I'm human. Name's Veronica," she said dismissively, swishing her fluffy new tail and half-turning away from the riolu. "I have a hypothesis... did you ever make a wish that you wanted to be a Pokemon? I think that's how I ended up here..."
She snickered at his stumbling, realizing that he hadn't quite gotten used to his new body yet. Putting on a sympathetic look, she turned around and stood next to him.
Best be nice and not burn bridges... he may be of use to me.
"Perhaps you could use me in case you fall," she said sweetly, batting her jade eyes at him. She giggled girlishly. "You never told me your name," she added charmingly, flashing white fangs.
