Zippy looked back at Rowen as she told the group that she knew the tauros. She didn’t understand. Why would a creature that knew those two be trying to kill them? Making sense of te situation wasn’t quite top priority at the moment. The tauros was turning around to tackle Rowen and Stephen. Ari was doing his best to slow the creature down, but the poor cub was hardly a match for the bull. The shinx was flung off, thrown across the field. He remained unmoving on the ground.
“Ari!” Zippy cried. “Loki, use Flash!”
The mime jr. let loose a flash of light in front of the tauros, stopping the creature in its tracks. This gave the young acrobat a chance to take Ari’s place. She jumped on the back of the tauros in hopes of tiring it out. This made the bull even angrier. Zippy stretched her arms around the beast’s neck and held on for dear life as the tauros began to rampage. Fortunately, the blinded bull was running away from his intended targets. Unfortunately, Zippy was still in grave danger.
“AHHHHH!!” she screamed as her body was flung left and right. She wasn’t sure she could hold on much longer.

“Mako, use thunder shock, but don’t hit Zippy!” Rowen called out and the pokemon nodded, lightening gathering around it in a burst and flinging at the bull pokemon. It stunned it and Rowen started to say something when Stephen said, “Saturn, use bite again!” The dark type launched at the bull pokemon and Rowen remembered her latest addition to her team. “Gold, I need you!’ She threw the pokeball up into the air.

The electric attack managed to paralyze the tauros, effectively stopping it from rampaging further. Unfortunately, with the way electricity travels, the attack traveled through the bull and into Zippy. The young acrobat slowly slid off the pokemon, unable to control her paralyzed body. Though she could still feel, Zippy was not able to move off of her back, nor was she able to call for help. She could only watch and hope the tauros didn’t decide to trample her.
Luckily, Loki was still around to keep fighting. The mime unleashed a confusion attack upon the enemy. The attack managed to tip the unmoving bull over, forcing it onto the ground. The battle was over.

The bull pokemon was on the ground, and Rowen sighed in relief. Recalling Gold, who hadn’t been needed in the slightest, and recalling Mako and Saturn also, she tried to calm down. Running over, she made sure Zippy was okay before glancing at the tauros with a sad expression. “Why would it do this?” Stephen voiced his sister’s thoughts, and Rowen shrugged.
“I’m-I’m not sure…but the fact that this is dad’s, does that man he wants us …dead?” The blue eyed girl whispered in horror. Stephen narrowed his eyes, patting her on the shoulder.
“No, Dad wouldn’t do that! No matter what else he’s done, he wouldn’t try and kill us,” he said in a matter of fact way and Rowen looked at him with a slight smile.
“I hope you’re right,” she muttered and Stephen grinning, hitting his sister in the arm lightly.
“Of course I’m right. I’m your older brother, aren’t I? That practically makes it official I’m right!”
Rowen rolled her eyes, but glanced over at Zippy. “Come on,” she said. “We need to make sure she’s okay,”

Zippy wanted to tell the others that she would be fine. The electric shock hurt a bit, but the pain subsided almost immediately. Of course, she was paralyzed and thus couldn’t feel the pain. Nor could she get up off the ground, or for that matter, talk to the others. Still, paralysis was a simple enough ailment for pokemon, cured easily with certain berries or medicine. Granted, she had no idea if that would work for people. On a brighter note, they must have been close to Cherrygrove by now; surely there was a hospital or something. Zippy would have smiled that she had friends with her to help…if she could smile. Poor Loki looked upon his trainer and gasped. She appeared to be dead! The mime jr. was panicing, picking up Zippy’s arm and dropping it repeatedly for some sort of reaction. The pokemon was waving at Rowen and Steven for help when he noticed that Ari was knocked out in the middle of the field. The pokemon rushed over to the shinx and proceeded to drag him across the grass by his tail. Hopefully, both would be alright… ((OOC: I can’t post anything more until we head to the pokemon center and/or hospital. Please include that in your next post . ))

"Yeah, no, the old man in the bushes is fine, thanks for asking," Michi said, having been knocked out of the way by the rampaging pokemon. He cursed his long hair, having been tangled in the bushes and thorns, preventing him from getting back up right away.
Hearing the distressed cries of the Mime Jr., he assumed it had been hurt in the fight and looked over to it.
"Ah, dammit," Michi cursed, jogging over and kneeling to check he girl's pulse. Upon finding one his picked her up as gently as he could, not wanting to jossle her.
"One of you kids go gather up her pokemon. We need to get to Cherrygrove double-quick," he said, half-wishing she was a pokemon. A pokemon he could cure, a girl, not so much.
((OOC: Sorry for finishing off the face of the planet, made an excuse for Michi not being in the battle, however flimsy it may be. Hopefully, as I tend to be more creative these days, I'll post more often.))

Rowen and Stephen nodded. “On it!” They chimed together and quickly ran around, gathering up all of Zippy’s pokemon and returning them to their respective pokeballs. “So, what happened to her?” Stephen asked in a curious, but still caring tone. Rowen looked guilty. “I think she got hit by one of Mako’s attacks…” She muttered and Stephen shrugged. “All’s well that ends well, I guess,” he cast a glance at the bull pokemon before walking over and kneeling down next to it. “Stephen!” Rowen screeched, but her brother ignored her. “It’s just knocked out. It’ll be fine…Rowen, look. There’s the brand Dad put on it...why was one of his pokemon trying to kill us?” Rowen started to say something, but couldn’t think of anything. For once the snarky and cocky blonde haired trainer was speechless.

Everything seemed to go by so fast. Though she couldn’t see with her eyes closed nor feel Michi carrying her away from the battlefield, she could tell they were moving. The group moved quickly through the route and passed through the Cherrygrove gatehouse. Seeing the young girl’s condition, the guard gave the group no trouble. In fact, he helped direct them to the pokemon center in town. There just so happened to be a clinic next door for human patients. Next thing Zippy knew, she started feeling the fabric of a hospital bed underneath her. She was able to lift her arm, noticing an IV line running medicine into her blood. Her eyes slowly opened, only to quickly close shut once greeted by the bright fluorescent light.
“W-where am I?” Zippy asked no one in particular. In fact, she wasn’t even sure anyone was in the room.

“The hospital in Cherrygrove City,” Stephen replied, walking into the room, before frowning when he saw the I.V in Zippy’s arm. “Ugh. I have I.V’s. They seriously stink. I had to get once one when I had the flu and oh God, did it suck. Stink, I don’t think anything hurts worse than breaking your arm, so your lucky there,” Stephen noted thoughtfully. “Rowen’s worried about you. She would’ve came in here herself, but she hates hospitals even more than I do. Silly, really, seeing as the only times she’s ever been in is when Chase, our oldest brother, he’s nineteen, or me got ourselves hurt pulling a stupid stunt or something…” Stephen smirked slightly at the memories of all the dumb things he’d done in the past, most of them involving skateboards.

Zippy smirked as Stephen went on about his family. It was nice to have someone acting like things were normal, even if they were far from it. A shadow pokemon tried to kill them all, and Zippy wasn’t any closer as to finding out what happened to her own family. The young trainer wasn’t putting much thought in that though. For now, she just wanted to get out of the bed and see everyone back at the pokemon center. “Is everyone OK?” she asked Stephen, wondering what became of her pokemon. “Why don’t you find out for yourself?” Zippy turned to the doorway to see the doctor had entered. He was an old gentleman with a well-groomed mustache and the traditional white coat. He was signing off charts as he approached the two. “The paralysis seems to have worn off, and nothing else was affected. I recommend staying in the city for the rest of the day before shocking yourself again. You might feel a bit wobbly for a few hours; just take things easy.” “Don’t you worry; I’ll be just fine,” Zippy replied as the doctor pulled the IV out. She climbed out of her bed…and proceeded to topple over. “Heh…little help?” ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ With a bit of help from Stephen, Zippy made it back to the pokemon center to greet the others. Most notably, her mime jr. and her shinx ran straight for her. The young acrobat scooped them up in her arms as she fell back in a chair. She laughed as Ari started licking her face. They made it through the first leg of their long journey. ((Just a few more posts and we can submit this for grading .))
