Zorayda smirked as the sand turned to shards, peppering Levis with their freezing effects. Ice Beam was a strange but extremely useful move for Dax to have, and apparently it had worked in her favor at the beginning of this battle. The delcatty looked a bit haggard, as well, but was not nearly as bad-off as the pidgeot was... perhaps she could continue to stay in the lead if she played her cards right.
Levis was only slightly affected by the Sing attack by Dax, but it was enough for Zorayda to take advantage of. Though Dax's accuracy was off by a bit, due to Jack's bit of dirty fighting, she was confident in the cat's abilities.
Dax tried to watch as Levis flew into the air, but frowned in lazy annoyance as the sun shone in his eyes. Jack knew how to battle, that was certain...
Zor's blue eyes narrowed as the bird zoomed towards Dax, who stood resolutely in place. His training had taught him to follow his mistress's commands exactly, so he didn't even flinch away from the bird as she speedily flew at him, trusting Zorayda completely to tell him when to move. She clenched her fists beside her out of nervousness.

"Double Edge, now!" she called at the last second. Dax meowed before charging forward, giving the attack his all. The damage sustained to him could possibly put him down... but unless Levis moved, the collision of the two could make her faint, as well...
