Back from Sinnoh after three years, eighteen year old trainer Josh Henderson is back home in Lavender Town. Not long after he gets back, his childhood best friend Rowen comes to visit, but things start to take a turn to the dark pretty soon: pokemon are vanishing, people are hearing strange noises coming from the old tower and a huge shadow is being seen.
Josh discards the things happening as normal bad luck...that's Rowen decides to explore the abandoned shell of what used to be the radio tower...what her and Josh discover changes everything they thought they knew, about the town and about each other even, changes.
