Josh Henderson sighed as he walked into his house. "Yo--Mom?" He called out, walking into the kitchen, frowning slightly when he saw a note on the table.
"Dear Josh," he read aloud.
"I'll be in Hoenn for the next two weeks...I wasn't sure when you would get home.
I love you
Mom."
Josh just sighed again. Wasn't this perfect, the pessimistic teen thought to himself as he walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. He had come home for nothing...
He heard a knocking on the door and frowned, wondering who it could be. No one knew he was back in town and everyone knew his Mom was gone...
He walked to the door and opened it, revealing a girl about a year younger with bright blonde hair and blue eyes. "Josh!" She yelled and hugged him tightly, causing the taller teen to smile.
"Hi, Rowen. How was Johto?" He asked and Rowen shrugged, stepping back.
"Not very fun," she admitted and then grinned. "Is it true that they abandoned the old radio tower?" She smiled and Josh shrugged.
"Maybe...I just got home."
"Let's go check it out!!!" Without waiting for a reply, Rowen dashed off down the sidewalk and Josh just smiled before chasing after her.
