One thing I've never gotten: They butchered the Sailor Moon series because it was too "dark and scary" for children. The Sailor Scouts didn't die like they were supposed to in the Final Episode of the first series because it was "bad".
Didn't Harry, Ron and Hermione almost get killed plenty of times in the first Harry Potter movie? They didn't butcher THAT series...so why Sailor Moon? Little kids didn't HAVE to watch it. Wasn't it made for teenagers anyway?
Don't get me wrong: I grew up watching the dub and I adore it, but I think kids can handle more than the grown ups give credit for.
What do you guys think?
