So start both out as small and undeveloped and make it work up to that. You'll have to modify the story, maybe, but it's not that much of a price for a fair RP and Pokemon battles.

You could have it linked to the beldum, though. It is the same concept. And that link is bound to develop as you RP.

It's hard to explain without having metagross's profile there... Could I not have the metagross as a new pokémon? Like just hatched or something?

Then it would be a beldum. And low level. Thus, fair to be in the midst of the rest of the characters.

You have to have a very good story behind how you found it, why you have it, etc. Also, remember that you are limited in how many powerful or legendary Pokemon you have. It's just not fair to have a super powered Pokemon when everyone else plays by the rules with normal ones.

I'm not trying to break the rules by having a super powered pokémon... it just has to be a metagross or the character IS pointless...

@moon, if you put a ditto and another pokémon together, say a metagross, you get an egg, correct? That egg has that evelution of the pokémon, not a de-evolved form... I think

Its not pointless, Rama. Its just how you look at it. I see a wealth of opportunity by following the rules.

And, no. I've done enough breeding to know for sure. Its the base form, not evolved form. Always, unless someone hacks.

The character was made for a metagross, without that pokémon, there is no need for the character and that means no Rama Kota

You can RP with Roma Kota and his metagross in the regular pokemon RP board. But it would be more or less cheating to waltz in with everyone else at base evolution and low levels like this.

Moon's right. You always get the de-evolved form. Every time. Pikachu + Ditto = Pichu. Persian + Ditto = Meowth. Etc, etc.
