The young woman's head bowed somewhat, before lightly resting a hand on his shoulder. "I understand ... But if you wish to speak of it, you may," Selena murmured, sighing wearily. Grateful the magical impact on her new 'side' was lasting, at least. But for how long?

Anope nickered and shook his head.
"See? Even Anope doesn't want to talk about it," Dark Link said, chuckling a bit.

Her chuckle in answer was forced, if only to lighten Dark Link's mood. But she still had a lingering question weighing on her mind. "... Dark Link ... Will my other side continue to kill whenever it takes over?" she finally asked, tone clearly dampened.

Dark Link pursed his lips. "Maybe. It depends really. Almost all young Shades go on rampages. I tried, but I got my butt kicked from one end of Hyrule to the next. Four times. I quickly learned it wasn't worth it," he said.

The mage was silent at his answer, head bowed. What a pleasant prospect ... She certainly couldn't keep it suppressed all the time. But she had already murdered several innocent people. And with the blood staining their garments, it was understandable as to the glares they had been receiving in the town.

"All right," she murmured, offering a slight nod to the much more experienced Shade. Lightly tracing the scarred mark on her palm with her other hand as Anope plodded up the trail, listening.

"When we are created, we're a child in an adult body. We learn to do things very quickly through imitating. And what are we created to do? Fight. We imitate the things we fight and improve upon it. That's why not many Shades have good people skills," he said, glancing back at her. "Though I don't recommend balancing on a thrusted sword. Half the time, you're standing on blade."

"... Interesting to know," the mage commented, pondering on the information. The thought of balancing on a sword, though, was oddly amusing. "I'd imagine doing the latter would become quite interesting, " Selena added, sounding vaguely amused at the notion.
