Zorayda let a small smile curve her lips at Kitty's softly spoken question. It did sound pretty good to have a friend right now, even if that friend was now a known murderer and thief... but she herself was an embezzler and a blackmailer, wasn't she? So to think of others in her position as anything less than an unfortunate human being was wrong and ungracious. Kitty had been so kind...
"That would be really great, actually," the purple-haired girl said softly, taking Kitty's hand. "I know you're really tired and everything... I know you're trying to protect me from some of this. Thank you so much," she said sincerely. Zorayda turned to pluck her Poke ball from her side and released Eeve, who had heard everything that was said and done. The newly-evolved umbreon whimpered, her blue markings pulsing in an almost sad way. Zorayda stroked Eeve's ears reassuringly.
"It's okay... it'll be okay, Eeve. We'll make it, I know we will." Zorayda turned her gaze upon Kitty and gestured for her to sit next to her upon the bed. Eeve took up the spot on the other side and curled into a tight ball, her back pressed to Zorayda's hip.

Garret nodded to Elliot after a moment, gesturing for his son to retrieve the rebellious assassin. "Perhaps you should find him before he gets himself hurt," the older businessman suggested calmly, before earning a near silent acknowledgment. His son strode off without comment, blood still dripping down his face. Garret's ice blue eyes observed the now battered hallway, before flicking towards Sabaku's master. "This shall be interesting." * * * * *
Kitty's brow arched slightly in surprise, before joining Zorayda inside the room after a moment. She hadn't expected the purple haired girl to want to stay around her. Not after what had happened. "Its all right ... It's really the least I can do, after what's happened to you," Kitty added after a moment, quiet. Her tone was pensive, almost lost in thought. The softness of the bed was apparent as they sat at the foot of it, a brief crimson flash lighting the room. Eeve seemed content to snuggle against Zorayda, using her human as a comfort against the recent happenings. A hand gently touched the bruise across her cheek as she stared at the wall, before allowing it to drop. It had been easier, to hide things when she was alone. But was it really the best option?

The entire day had been simply too much for the young assassin to bear. His mind had immediately shut down as soon as his head hit the tree trunk, eager to get some rest. Rest plagued with nightmares and flashbacks the young man would simply brush off by force of habit, rest that gave his body a chance to calm down and assess its situation.
It was at moments like these that he absolutely detested being woken up. And by sheer reflex, every time something too close or too loud happened next to him, he woke up, drawing a knife. Last time he did that, he scared the poor squirrel sniffing him into quasi-unconsciousness.
And that's how he found himself standing as the darkness in his mind was suddenly replaced by the present, a knife making its way into his hand as he jumped up into a crouching position, glaring around for any attackers.
A light breeze blew through the leaves, ruffling them. It somewhat calmed the teen seeing as he was comforted that the previous ruffling had been the wind as well. That is, until he felt another pair of eyes on him and clenched his teeth.
It was that other guy.
