"Forgot a jacket, huh?" He asked Rowen, smiling. He shook off his own, to Rowen’s surprise, and handed it to her. "Here, don't bother getting wet for no reason--use mine," he offered, handing it too her. Rowen smiled at him, and thanked him. She slipped it on, it of course being a little bit too big on her, but not much, and grinned at Jace who was petting the sleeping Mako. "Aw, Mako, you don't like thunder and rain?" Jace asked the pikachu, ruffling its fur. "I thought pikachus loved lightning..."
Mako stirred a little in her sleep, and Rowen smiled.
“Oh, she loves the thunder and lighting, she just hates getting wet. It must be that every time my brother Stephen and I, he’s a water Pokemon trainer, battled, he would always get Starmie to soak her first, so she couldn’t use electric attacks.” She explained.
Nurse Joy walked over and handed Jace back his Pokemon. “Hey, Rowen, c'mere! I need to introduce you to my other two Pokemon," He said, sounding excited. He thanked the nurse, and Rowen smiled, and walked over to his side. He held one up and grinned. "This is my gastly--he looks scary, but he's a soft-heart,"
"This is Rast."
The Gastly came out and turned it’s red eyed gazed shyly away from Rowen.
"Hello," he said in a raspy voice. Rowen smiled at the ghost Pokemon.
“Hi, Rast.” She greeted. Jace released his other Pokemon, which turned out to be a spearow. The spearow looked a little full of himself, and Rowen smiled, being reminded of herself.
"Rowan's a little... ornery, sometimes, but I know he's got a spark of kindness somewhere in there[/b]." Jace said. Rowen nodded in agreement.
“Yes, most ornery pokemon and people for that matter do. It just takes effort on their and other people’s part to let it show. "Hello, Rowan.” She smirked a little. She hadn’t just been talking about Rowan, but herself too.
"And you've met Viola," Jace finished, letting the little fire fox out. Rowen smiled.
“Yes, I have. Hey Viola,” She greeted the Pokemon. Then she grinned.
“You haven’t got to meet Saturn yet, have you?” She asked, and let the Umbreon out from her Pokemon. Saturn gave Jace a cautious look, before nodding at Rowen and going back into her Pokeball.
“Urm, maybe later. I think I woke her up. “
