Dusk had fallen now, blanketing Celadon in a dark shroud. Shielding the black clad duo from prying eyes as they moved, a slight scrapping audible as a lock broke. The aristocratic home had a dual purpose, though - And being only two blocks away from the known Rocket base, it was of easy access in terms of time and travel. However, continuous foot fall made it clear the master of the house was not about to give up his coveted valuables easily.
Giovanni's right hand.
And being he held one of the rarest documents in the world, well ... Garret's interest had been piqued. Especially as it related to his own private quest. Elliot fastened his cowl as he took stance, offering a short nod to Kitty. The two most wanted "freelance" criminals in the world - Nightshade and Shadow Cat. A master assassin and super thief. Fear inspiring apart, and lethal together. Even if it wasn't a willing thing.
Kitty suppressed as sigh as she tucked the lockpick in her small pouch, before nodding in response. They were good to go. Vent ducking would also be their best bet, to get further in the house. Once the first guard had passed, the slipped inside. The door faintly clicked shut behind them, but the duo was otherwise soundless in the blackened corridor. The onyx tressed thief stiffened as Elliot's hands closed around her waist, lifting her up to reach the wide ducking. Of course that was his excuse. Shaking her head, she gently worked the swinging side of it open. Her lift stepped back as it all but fell, creaking and in desperate need of some WD40. Small wisps of sparks were visible from the security camera as Gair phased through it, his ghostly body shorting out the electrical components. Meaning it hadn't caught a single movement from them.
The young woman stepped on Elliot's shoulder to climb in, easily hauling herself up the rest of the way. While she had done this countless times over the years, shuffling along the aluminum ducking still made her feel like a frozen dinner waking to be cooked. She was just lucky she was smaller than her 'partner'. He would have a tough time getting through quietly, but knowing him, he'd manage flawlessly as usual. And he unfortunately had a perfect view of her rear end as they moved along.
She hissed under her breath as the ducking popped, the sound like broken glass to her ears. Freezing where she was, resisting the urge to kick "Nightshade" when he bumped into her. Waiting with bated breath, judging to see if someone had heard them. A shorted out camera would've surely gotten someone curious, especially if Gair was doing his job still. After several long moments, moving on in the now hot ventilation duck. Now she was being cooked, with them in such a close proximity and such little room to maneuver. The black catsuit that she wore wasn't helping matters, either, the fabric clinging to her back like an extra skin as sweat moistened it. Finally getting a breath of fresh air as she reached the vent they'd been looking for, which looked straight down into the owner's office. And the vault was supposed to be in the room somewhere.
Uncomfortably cramped in the small space as she positioned herself to get out of the vent, a sharp kick sent it swinging open as she dropped out. Landing in a trademark cat-like pose, one that continued to encourage the hated petname Elliot had given her. She slowly stood, upon seeing the cameras were already shorted out. Where was the menace, then?
The question barely crossed her mind, however, when Gair suddenly appeared in her face. Scowling underneath the dark cowl as she jumped back, Kitty promptly swatted her hand through the ghost type. Powerful or not, she'd had more than enough of him. Elliot suddenly landed next to her, his icy gaze clearly disapproving as the gastly reformed. Turning their attention to searching the office, though, to find the vault.

The night had fallen, the shadows has risen, and the silence had conquered the world.
The only sound around was the soft of soft padding footsteps as two beings quickly proceeded through the trees, towards a house a little further away from the small town.
The assassin and his companion proceeded extremely silently, stopping once the entire mansion was in view.
The two looked at each other for a moment, and nodded silently before the glint of metal shone in the rising moonlight. Slowly putting up the knives in his hands, the assassin aimed for the two guards patrolling the front of the mansion, and as soon as the released the knives, he jumped out of the trees, running for the entrance.
The knives embedded themselves right in front of the guards as the two men looked up in surprise. Even before they had the chance to say anything at all, the teen rose from behind one, grabbed his mouth and slit his throat with a knife, wincing. The second one was quickly dealt with in a similar fashion before they stood wide open in front of the door.
"Inazuma, find our target." he ordered in a whisper as the Luxray nodded and intently started staring at the house. His pupils quickly shrank as he used his amazing Luxray vision to look through the walls and search for their target. Finally, it turned out the target was in the vault behind his office.
Having located him, the assassin and his companion proceeded to opening a window on the side of the house and sneaking in.
Once inside the hallway, very plain and long, the teen studied the walls, brows furrowing. Lazers.
"Inazuma, lead." he ordered as the Luxray activated its x-ray-ish vision, the red beams quickly coming into view. Without a second to waste, he started bounding through the beams, his trainer doing his best to follow exactly from behind.
Once past, the two smiled at each other, and proceeded to the next corner. Behind it was the office, but the entrance was still riddled with guards.
Not wanting to make unnecessary kills, the blonde loaded his hands with knives and aimed, nodding at his Pokemon. Synchronised due to years of practice, the blonde threw the knives just as the Luxray released a charge of lightning.
The knives embedded themselves in skin, as cries arose from the guards who had received non-fatal wounds. That's when Inazuma's lightning kicked in, condensing in the metal blades and surging electricity through the men's bodies, knocking them out.
Without wasting another moment, the two companions rushed forward, and, all but barging into their target's office, they entered.

The duo suddenly paused as lights flashed on the other side of the office door, followed by cries of surprise and pain. Instinctively taking stance by trained reaction, their hands immediately moves to the knives at their hips. Elliot much more willing to draw his blades, however, having grown immune to the scarlet spatter of death. His icy blue eyes narrowing upon seeing another black-clad human enter the office, staring the male down.
Like themselves, only his eyes were visible. There were no defining traits in his features left open to the eye. But when an undersized luxray padded up to its master's legs, Elliot only seemed amused. Recognizing it in the same instant that Kitty did. The same one from the center earlier, and the forest before that. However, it was a slim chance that he would recognize their eyes alone. But he was still interfering. And he'd seen them. The cat claw and belladonna crest across their chests giving away their aliases, though.
She tensed slightly, observing his stance. Her own more defensive than offensive, but prepared to move in an instant. And knowing Gair, he'd be able to swoop down in mere seconds if he attacked. The question was, would Elliot kill him or not?

The first thing the assassin sensed when he came into the room was that there was a disturbance, but if there WAS smeone, then he or she was extremely skilled at hiding their presence.
Still unsure if there was anyone around, he threw the issue aside and quickly ran for the vault door at the back of the room, plastering himself against the wall. Even if the door was open, letting light filter into the otherwise dark room, the assassin and his Pokemon found a patch of shadows to hide in.
"What's he doing?" he suddenly asked as his Luxray peered through the door, growling as a response to his master's command. "Alright then." his hands suddenly went up to his cloak. "We should just get this over with and go home."
With that, he threw his cloak completely off of him, and with the same breath, drew his knives, walked out in the open, and jammed a knife in the lock on the door, making it click and fall to the ground as his hand gripped the handle. The sound of broken metal on the ground was all that resonated, sounding like a booming noise in the otherwise silent room.

The duo watched from their positions as the other intruder went about his business, and noisily at that. They remained silent out of curiosity as seconds ticked by on the clock against the far wall, but cringed at his crude and noisy methods. After years of training in absolute stealth, every noise and word he made was like dropping a glass vase on a wooden floor. When Elliot finally grew fed up with waiting, however, as the knives were crudely shoved into the door he'd uncovered.
"... I believe you've done quite enough," the young man whispered from underneath his cowl when the other paused, suddenly unsheathing both of his main-gauches. The slender blade and hooked pommels gleaming in the faint lights from the flickering lamps in the corridor, appearing a faint coppery color. "Leave, or obtain a taste of the poison I am known for."

The blonde teen froze as he heard that, and even his Pokemon realized that being rash would not help them in this situation.
Slowly, very slowly, the assassin turned around and faced the newcomers. He suddenly shrugged and sighed out.
"Well, I did take care of everybody in this house, or at least floor, so I don't see what the problem in being noisy is." he explained in an unusually calm fashion. "Might as well warn the victim of what's coming so he or she can think their last thoughts or say their last words." he whispered. "Besides, I don't feel well, so I think I'll just spare myself the effort of really striking in the shadows and finish what I came to do." he smiled.
They stayed silent for a moment until the young assassin finally shrugged and turned around as his Luxray kept watch on the intruders for any additional movements.
"Now if you'll excuse me... I have things to do, but I promise I'll be out in five."
With that, he kicked the door open violently and walked inside the vault.

Elliot's gaze was impassive as he stared the other assassin down, however, Kitty could tell from his body language that he was intrigued enough not to simply end the man's life right then and there. Gripping his weapons as both of his pokemon appeared in forms of assurance, the arcanine and alakazam proving to be quite an intimidating pair. "Leave us to our own once you are through, and you may go," he finally said quietly before the other male turned to the vault, allowing that much if only to watch his actions.
Cerberus staring Inazuma down, however, the massive fire dog's muzzle curling back in distaste. Finding the electrical lion threatening to his master's well being. A soft growl audible from the tiger-striped canine, head lowered in warning as his fangs gleamed in the faint light.
But none of them missed the sound of steel entering flesh.
Scarlet slowly running down the white tile, before staining the pale carpeting. The amount of blood that quickly meaning one thing only - He'd slit his target's throat. "The document, Shadow Cat."
She nodded reluctantly, sighing as she stepped past the undersized luxray. It made no move to attack her, but sparks were appearing on it's blue-black pelt in warning. Offering a small nod to placate the wary pokemon, she tossed her dagger at Elliot. Ridding herself of any visible threat, thus removing the possibility of being electrocuted. Stepping around the growing puddle as she entered the vault, feeling both of the assassins' gazes as she glanced around. The dim bulb casting a faint light on her jade eyes as they scanned the vault itself, otherwise highlighting nothing but the crest over her heart. The black catsuit and cowl effectively hiding any defining traits, gloved hands pulling open a drawer after a moment.
Not saying a word to the blonde as she carefully extracted the weighted scroll of parchment, before rolling it. A plastic bag slid over the long piece of parchment when she was finished, before immediately sliding both into a protective casing so it wouldn't be damaged on the way back. They'd have to steam the brittle scroll in order to get it open again, though. It may have been well preserved, but paper of any sort only lasts so long.
Offering a single nod to the still motionless blonde that had been watching her trained hands work, she strode back out the vault door. It wouldn't be long before the police force arrived. They'd already spent too long inside. A faint glow came from Elliot's alakazam as it prepared a Teleport, before she glanced back. Elliot had already left their calling card, apparently. Ready to leave.

The assassin quickly strode inside, leaving his Pokemon behind to guard. Inside was the frightened and startled Team Rocket official he had to assassinate, looking at him wide-eyed.
Before the terrified man could even utter a word, Sabaku was behind him, holding a knife to his throat.
"Don't scream. Spend your last moments in peace and silence. I'm sorry, my friend, but this is something that must be done. Rest in peace." he whispered, letting the man breathe a little longer before flipping the blade to the sharp side and noislessly slitting his throat.
Then, he eased the man to the floor, closed his eyes and dipped his finger into the pooling blood. Immedately, right next to the man, he started writing some intricate symbols. They were both Japanese symbols, but a lot of people in the Pokemon world knew how to read it.
He finished with one more line, the bloody words shining like light in the dark: Akai Ame. Japanese for Red Rain . The name everyone feared, despised and resented for killing so many innocent people.
He didn't want this life. Eyes now emotionless, he felt sadness rushing through his body, weakening his very grip on reality. He was forced to kill all these people, but why, even he did not remember. What did these people do wrong? Why must they die? What did Team Oblivion want with them?
He was wondering when suddenly, a large strike of lightning and thunder boomed from above, making him flinch out of his thoughts. He looked around with empty eyes before another strike of thunder boomed again.
Ah, so the two other assassins are leaving. With careless eyes, he watched as the woman -who seemed familiar to him...- went to the man's side, ready to teleport.
Well, one down, one more to go.

The patter of rain beginning to pound against the rooftop began to resonate in their ears, the light mist it had started out as a few minutes ago already thickening to a downpour. As if the sky were crying, mimicking the blonde assassin's now forlorn expression. Kitty slowly inhaled, before loosing a somewhat understanding sigh. She may have lacked in that particular experience, but his mood was clear enough. Inazuma's dark crimson gaze remained on the renowned thief-assassin pair from his position near the vault, although something in them had changed. Sadness?
Kitty gently brushed a hand over her partners' pokeballs after a moment, the pallid glow from the gathering energies making their pitch catsuits appear something of a charcoal gray. Reattaching the unused dagger to her belt as Elliot shoved it at her, but his wordless comment was clear enough. She was lucky that someone else had taken care of her job. Otherwise it would've been blood staining her hands. He had only come as backup, to make sure she would offer no mercy.
But to have interfered with the other assassin would've cost them valuable time, as well as possibly revealing their civilian identities. Something that would be highly frowned upon. After going uncaught for so many years, one simple accident ruining the names Nightshade and Shadow Cat simply wouldn't do for Garret. Especially since his son wasn't nearly as expendable as she was. The duo offering a single nod to the blonde as the mass Teleport, one that would take them entirely to another side of the region, finished. Muttering something under her breath as she felt a wandering hand glide over her back, knocking it away with her nearest arm. "Keep your grubby mitts to yourself, Nightshade," she hissed, barely audible even between the two of them. Before vanishing.

Just as the two other thiefs disappeared, another crack of lightning crashed down, and suddenly, the lights went out.
Inazuma immediately started growling, on high alert, yet looking around worriedly as if expecting something bad to happen.
Inside the vault, Sabaku quickly whipped his head up, eyes growing as wide as saucers as he looked around. As the darkness took over, an occasional crack of lightning offering little light from outside, he slowly started shaking.
"I-Inazuma?" he weakly called, eyes darting around frantically.
A cry of reassurance from his Pokemon confirmed his call.
"Where are you?" he called, shutting his eyes tight and trying to crawl towards his friend.
Another cry alerted him to continue forward, and he did so until he came into contact with something soft.
Immediately grabbing his undersized Luxray, he sat against a wall and clutched his Pokemon, starting to get scared. He'd never liked the dark, not after his training with Team Oblivion. In fact, he was completely terrified of the dark.
The teen clutched his Luxray tighter, tears starting to form around his eyes as his Luxray looked around, making sure that nothing, once again, would jump out to hurt him or his master.
And they stayed like that until finally, the backup generator kicked in, the light coming back to the mansion, also bringing along about a dozen of armed guards who now stood in the doorway to the office, staring at him, or more exactly, on the blood on his clothes.
Before they could say anything, though, the assassin quickly got up with a wobbly step and put his Luxray down, grinning madly. It was not one of his usual grins, though. This one was somewhat of a crazy, lost kind of grin. It scared Inazuma to the point where he bit his master's leg to wake him up.
"You're right, the light's back on." the blonde laughed. "No more darkness, no more pain..." he then looked up at the guards who were brandishing their weapons against him. "Ah, it's time to go now, though, Inazuma." he sighed.
Taking the signal, the Luxray quickly called forth a blast of Thunder. Just as the room was illuminated by the bluish light, the assassin and his Pokemon jumped out the window. By the time the guards could see again, they were gone.
