Dude, you actually got tears to run down my face this time. That is friggin' impressive as I never cry. You should publish a collection of these poems, with some happy poems, too.

Dude, you actually got tears to run down my face this time. That is friggin' impressive as I never cry. You should publish a collection of these poems, with some happy poems, too. That was the intention, Diamond. ...Unfortunately, it may be a little bit of time before a happy piece is written. Because my heart is black and broken...and I need people to mend that break... ...I want to be loved...

Perfection Crash - 21st August 2010
A simple man who takes on a quest, A traveller throughout the starry skies, To travel from planet to planet around, Purely to seek each special prize.
Over a hundred were scattered in space, His eternal challenge was to find them all, This was by no means a simple task in any form, As anything can stop him: enemy, black hole or fall.
At the edge of each area, a guardian stayed still, Awaiting this hero of the rest, The largest Stars around were in their grasp, They can only be taken by the very, very rest.
After all gold prizes were plucked from their worlds, A special woman scattered more stars into space. Their colour was of a gleaming emerald green, And concealed themselves from any obvious place.
Then when every last one of these was finally gathered, A final two missions appeared far away, The first of which was tricky, but not complicated at all... Number 242 although, holds insanity in the way.
Even to this day, the final sparkle lies there, Unable to be grabbed by the wonder in the sky, Will he ever come in contact with the treasure ahead? Or wave the last planet goodbye?

When Words Stop Coming... - 28th August 2010
Around where I at last belong. A place I want to stay. But, again, I find a problem, When there's something I must say.
My mouth may seem open, Along with my head, But the conveyors stopped giving The words I wish I said.
You must know what I'm thinking... But I wonder how to tell... These thoughts of love and hatred, In my mind, they wish to dwell.
Can you forgive my shyness? Do you understand the pain? When I say this, please be happy... ...I want your love again... _________________________________________________

*Smiles.* A very nice poem, Up. Best of luck in mending that experience, too. I'm sure you can manage. Just choose your options wisely.

Nostalgic Fortress - 1st September 2010
Many years ago, a mountain I climbed, Where shining treasures where hidden in stone. Despite the enemy swarms living upon this place, I set out to the top all alone.
Atop this great blocky island in the sky, Stood the monarch of rocks standing tall. "If you want my Star," he said, "You have to make me fall!"
The challenge was at last laid down, The treasure will be mine soon, Just simply make him charge and trip, Before the sun turns into a moon.
After his defeat back then, The Whomp King set out to space. He rebuilt his fortress brick by brick, And waited for me to return to this place.
Just last month I arrived to the lair, It was now named "Throwback". My heart raced as memories flooded in. The adventure was too great...ATTACK!

Hehe, this is a wonderful poem, my friend. You never cease to amaze me with your work, Up. I'm convinced you've got a lot of natural talent in the poetry department. ^_^

Here are ten of my best works (I update on another forum now. >.> Sorry.)
A Tricky Discovery
When you think you've seen everything, And know a person front-to-back, There tends to be something new, Which makes the world start to crack.
Did you expect to know all things? When I called you a friend? I was too scared to tell you... And I wonder if this will end.
It may seem like I hate you, But inside you're close to me, It's just that...inside, I love you... And your reaction may be too scary to see.
I loved you all this time, Ever since we first caught a glance... I gather your heart doesn't bode the same way... ...But please, may I have a chance? ____________________________________________________
Time Travels Slower
The seconds cross silently, The minutes, they extend, The hours last eternities, The days, they never end.
Life is a slow-moving sculpture, Or a painting in monochrome. Stick figurines stroll forever, Endlessly seeking home.
The scenery, though picturesque, Is frozen in one pose. Stare at the horizon for as long as you wish, Is this normal at all? Who knows...
The calendar pages turn eventually, The months and years last forever...we think... But what happened back then you won't forget, Because our memories don't vanish with a wink.
Although the clock hands shift slowly, With the ominous clicking sound, You should enjoy time whilst it lasts, To avoid a fate of despair...that I have found. ____________________________________________________
Sunrise Mountain
The hour hand points downwards, Behind which the number six hides... Right about now, a radiant ball, Rises above the mountainsides.
The shining rocks towering up, Touching the distant sky. Almost breaking peripheral vision itself, Out of the view of the eye.
Why do you think this is "Sunrise Mountain"? ...It's as simple as you think. The snow caps up on the highest peaks, Turn a beautiful white and pink.
I could stare at it for hours, My eyes are twinkling at the view. The beauty is truly beyond any words, I wished you could all see it with me too. ____________________________________________________
The World I Once Knew...
I watch the world as it passes me by, I listen to the sounds in the scene, I savour the aromas of the clean, refreshing air, I am in a world that is peaceful and serene.
All the people I know are respectful and kind, Each loving me in their own way. If I needed them for any query at all, I could count on them listening, night or day.
As life continues though, the views turn dark, Not like from day into night....there is a lot less love. The world I once knew transformed into a nightmare, The beautiful blue sky? Now a sea of tears above.
Even the people in this world have changed, No longer compassionate or nice... They say I obstruct them from using talents they have, They say I must always think twice.
The problem I see is frightening to consider, But it is something I must get off my chest... Did the world stay the same, and the misery was mine? If I perish, I think it would be for the best... ____________________________________________________
A Friend Wrapped in Fur...
When the works stretches out, Further than the eyes can see, And you need a long rest, So desperately, it's almost a plea.
Your parents are busy, Your sisters...on the phone, Your brothers are playing, And it looks like you're alone.
But something in the house loves you, Through thick and thin, this or that. Do you know where to find it? ...Love emanates from your cat.
A furry little friend, Who loves being around. Soft to the touch, And its "purr", a peaceful sound.
A companion on all fours, Very playful, loving to jest. Comforting in any situation, A true pairing...it is the best.
I, myself, though...have never had a cat, But I have seen the affection they hold. Felines...friends with fluffy outsides Surrounding a heart of pure gold~ ____________________________________________________
Secret or Obvious?
It may seem life moves too fast to control Helps when time slows up somewhat To know whether you're living life to the full Stop and listen and untie your stomach's knot.
And browse the scenery as close as you can Take in everything you can see A person who never stops to enjoy Closer to haste...never finding inner glee.
Look at the sky, ever changing in shade Search for the creatures around For there's never a moment nothing happens The changes in sight, smell or sound.
Secrets love to hide in the town Every time you visit, keep your eyes peeled. Single breaks in an hour can keep monotony down Day...is it brighter? You've been healed. ____________________________________________________
Truth is in the Eyes?
We stare into each other's eyes, Your amber intriguing gaze. You notice my black iris twitch, And my red pupils blaze.
You can tell I am pure darkness, As for yourself, I'm not so sure. What I can decipher though, Is you're certainly more pure.
The emptiness around us, The silence in the air, They make me wonder, seeing you... Are you actually there?
If you are an illusion, You'd be closer to my dream. But we all know that in this world, Things aren't as they seem.
At last I wake up from this place, And much to my surprise, I look into the mirror and find I have your amber eyes.
Who are you, mysterious woman? Why did you come to me? What caused this change within my head That alters what I see?
I still live with that amber stare, That reveals the truth in the world. If I could, I'd pass on these sights, To those wanting reality unfurled. ____________________________________________________
Time to Celebrate
Streamers fly Into the air Drinks passed around Plenty to share
Hats and clothes Colours aplenty Paper plates In a box of twenty
Singalongs Games to play Simple cards Touching to say
Silly actions From girls and boys Our childish sides Smile at the toys
Never too young Never too old Never too hot Never too cold
Surprise souvenirs Of stains on shirts Confusing memories Of unusual flirts
Remember back then? When parties were fun? Gather your friends And dance beneath the sun. ____________________________________________________
Extreme Silence
A world populated by people, Mixed races, lifestyles and looks. Oh, how it feels perfect to belong, Somewhere that is not full of crooks.
My home lies in the third district, The one where the artists reside. In this area, I'm one of the few who love to write. But everyone acknowledges that I tried.
The houses here are sure popular, Visitors and commenters aplenty. This place, it is just starting to grow, I'm grateful if a day's view count hits twenty.
As the days pass and the sun and moon switch, The numbers here dwindle away, "It's just a fluctuation, Philip, they love the work..." Words spoken by me everyday.
Then the cobwebs grow larger, And I stand there, still as a stone, The only living things here are insects, Who amass upon each of my bones.
As a mushroom, I'm wilting from loneliness, And repeating anxiety I can't shoo. But if you decide to visit my digital abode... I'll be fainting of shock to see you. ____________________________________________________
A Night in Floral Valley
Around me, the colours Vibrant and bright. Violet sky overhead, Emerald slopes left and right.
Examine the mountains Watch the flowers bloom To bring smiles on faces And eradicate gloom.
I see no darkness! This place, it is pure. Do you want to join me? You're tempted, I'm sure~
An escape from the city From the hectic days Watching the creatures Such a great thing to gaze.
The picturesque world And it is ours to share I'll be waiting for you In the apple tree there.
I feel much more athletic I see my smile shine A haven from the urban Is all yours and all mine.
I await in the shadows Of the mountaintops, high. There's just one thing remaining So I'll stare at the sky~! ____________________________________________________
Enjoy~!

I like "A Friend Wrapped in Fur" ( <3 cats) and "Time to Celebrate", I think. You're great with rhyming words and not making it sound cheesy XD
