Link lowered his sword after a moment, reluctantly letting it hang at his side as he moved in front of his shadow. "... I remember her from that encounter several days ago ..." he mused, nodding to the young woman in Dark Link's arms. Also noticing that she was trembling uncontrollably, noticing the many wounds that were splayed across her diminutive form.

"Glad your memory's not as shallow as you act. Ganondorf is back," Dark Link told him, fishing out a blue potion and offering it to Selena.

Dark Link nodded, just about force-feeding the potion to Selena. He mumbled the spell again, his form changing.

Link paused, unable to not notice the change in his counterpart. His eyes themselves, once uncaring rubies, now had a soft depth to them. Did he actually care for the girl?

Dark Link sighed once the change was complete, staggering and clutching his self-inflicted wound. He shook his head to clear it before acting as if it hadn't happened. "Selena?" he said, reaching out to grab her again.

The young woman shuddered as soon as he made psychical contact, instinctively inching away. Dark Link sighed, before making a slower approach.
They had succeeded in drilling the fear into her.
