She nodded hesitantly, now dripping locks clinging to the sides of her face. The blood had nearly finished rinsing out of her electrum tresses due to the steady rainfall, soaking the mage thoroughly.
Dark Link slowly offered a hand as Kent came into his sights, offering a small smile to Selena. She inched forward after a moment, slowly grasping his hand.

Dark Link smiled at her. "What ever they did to you, they'll pay tenfold for," he promised her.

She shook her head suddenly, stiffening. "... Please, no ... There has already been too much suffering ..." she whispered head bowed. Rain continued to pour down, pounding their backs and the cobblestone as Kent reached them.

"Only because you told me not to. No other reason shall I give them a quick death. Because I have a hunch that the minions you, Link, let survive, opened the portal for Ganondorf," Dark Link said.

Kent slowly moved forward, taking another step towards Selena. He felt Link tense behind him as he knelt next to the young woman, noticing her waver.

Dark Link kept a wary eye on Kent as he kept his hold on Selena's hand.

The young Knight glanced back up at Dark Link, suppressing a sigh. Ashamed that he had not fulfilled his duties, to protect Selena. "... Thank you, again ..." he murmured, referring to the fact that Dark Link had found Selena twice before him.
The dark warrior paused, startled by the thanks, instead expecting rage. He nodded after a moment, slowly moving closer to Selena. "... Perhaps you should rest," he suggested gently, seeing the obvious exhaustion that tinged her slight frame.

She nodded hesitantly, gently pulling out of his grip.
The masculine trio paused, watching in silence as she moved towards some of the still standing shelter. Selena soon disappeared behind a pile of rubble and a cloth canopy 'shielding' her overhead. Dark Link's brow arched, following Kent and his light half. Had she always made do, with whatever was available?

"Link, you should warn Zelda, if she doesn't already know," Dark Link said, staring quizzically at the place Selena had chosen to sleep.
